It's been five years since moving here. My family and I have had a great time in New Jersey. There are times when I would dispute the term "Garden State." I think it would be more truthful to call it the "Tick State," or the "Vermin Deer State," or even
the "Taxation State." None of those would do much to attract or retain residents, however. Most accurate would be, "Land of Awesome People," but that is probably true of anywhere I've lived.
Now the moving van is gone with all of our belongings in it. It was amazing to watch these two men work. They were efficient, and just seemed to know what the other was thinking. I've never seen two people work this well together. The leader never even seemed
to give an order to the helper. Amazing. Everyday a nice woman from the head office would call to see how things were going. Everyday I could tell her how well things were working out. I am still blown away that two people did more work than the five people
who loaded us up from our home before we moved to New Jersey. These guys got everything into one trailer in 2 1/2 days, and smiled and joked through the whole thing. My wife was so happy that she wrote an email to the President of New World Van Lines to let
him know about our good experience and to request that these same fellows deliver and unload for us. For anyone who might be using movers in the future, Max and Curtis are their names.
I am about to take apart the modem and router to send back to Comcast. You all get a reprieve from my folksie, long winded rants. But fear not! I will be back in a couple of weeks. I might try using my Blackberry on the road, but I can barely see the screen.
Thank you all for the well wishes that I have received. AR is a really nice place to hang out.
