Followed the recipe exactly and this is AMAZING! Will make this again. Not too sweet, either.

Excellent recipe! Followed it to a T and got rave reviews from company. Very easy and quick, too! Makes great leftovers as well. Will definitely make this again.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2012
I have made these now many, many times! This last time I followed many reviewers' suggestions to add a cup of sugar and an extra teaspoon of vanilla. They were very good that way, too! I like to bake them on parchment paper because they just slide right off. Excellent recipe! Thanks Jill.

Chocolate Rum Balls I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
I have been making these for years, and my mom used to make these as well. Don't change a thing with this recipe. It is a crowd pleaser! There is such a small amount of rum in it (mostly just to flavor it - as vanilla does) I even give a few to my kids. :) Excellent recipe.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2011
I have made this about 100 times now because it is so amazing. I followed reviewers' advice and used 1c white sugar and 1c brown sugar. I also use 3-4c of zucchini and you still can't even tell that it's in there. It just makes the bread more moist (and more nutritious!). Don't be afraid to add a little more cinnamon and vanilla, and do not overbake this. Sometime I'm going to try substituting 1-2c of whole wheat flour to make it more wholesome. Wonderful recipe!!!! Oh, and buttering the pan works just fine. No need to flour it.

Cherry Tomatoes Filled with Goat Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
I have made this recipe many times over the years and it is always a hit! I don't make any changes to the recipe at all! I love that this is low-carb as well.

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
This is a great casserole! I followed the suggestions of other reviewers and added an extra cup of cheese in the middle of the casserole. I also added fresh mushrooms and used red pepper instead of green pepper. Thanks Melissa!

Easy Baked Tilapia

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
This was good, not great. I did follow reviewers' suggestions to thaw the vegetables and add a little seasoned salt and parmesan cheese. Probably not a recipe I'll make again. I used frozen tilapia (freshly thawed). Not sure if fresh tilapia would have made a difference. Tilapia is not expensive! This is a good thing!

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
This is GREAT! It's hard to know many stars to give the original recipe when I made it the first time based on reviewers' suggestions. I roasted a whole chicken in an oven bag for 2 hrs 20 min. I sauteed sliced mushrooms (16 oz) and garlic (an entire head) in butter, then added a few bags of chopped baby spinach and sauteed until it looked wilted. I put that mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish. I used the same frypan (deglazed with a splash of white wine) for the butter (1/4 c is WAY too much!), lemon juice, soup, Italian seasoning, half and half, and Parmesan cheese. At this point I might try adding sundried tomatoes next time! Follow the rest of the recipe as is, using real bacon (crumbled) - maybe more! I baked it at 350 as recommended by other reviewers. Next time I'll try serving over bowtie pasta. Another reviewer suggested Harvest Cheddar Biscuits wiith this - GREAT suggestion, and great biscuits!

Adam's Dirt Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
Great cookies. Similar to Nestle Toll House Cookies. Next time I will try 3 c double stuffed Oreos (or maybe one whole package). 1 t salt is way too much for my taste! Next time I will use 1/4 t. My kids love this!

Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2011
This salad is wonderful! I fried 6 pieces of bacon and threw out any fatty pieces as I was crumbling them. Next time I'll try smoked bacon. I used red grapes (sweeter and more colorful). I was afraid to use ginger, but it really made it perfect. Thanks Cathy!

Red Velvet Cake IV

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
Wonderful cake "as-is". I did not add any food coloring. We are generally trying to avoid artificial ingredients - why intentionally add this to a perfectly good home-made cake? Thanks for this recipe!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
I'm not sure how to rate this because I made it with many changes recommended by reviewers. With the recommended changes it is definately 5 stars! I doubled the recipe and it made 18 muffins. Next time I will only fill the tins half-full. As they baked, they rose and a lot of crumb topping fell down and burned itself to the bottom of my oven. I would halve the topping (it gets very messy!). I used buttermilk and added vanilla for the muffins and used brown sugar instead of white for the topping. Do not over-mix or over-bake. Next time I'm going to try coarse sugar instead of the topping. Everyone loved these muffins!

Tender Pork Roast

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
I think this is the first two star rating I have given any recipe, but this was SO SALTY! If I were to meke it again, I would use more tomato sauce and less soy sauce. Not sure how much a difference that would make.

Thai Coffee

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
If you have an espresso machine, make one or two shots of espresso and put it in a Pyrex bowl or measuring cup. Add the sweetened, condensed milk to taste (1-4T) and LOTS of ice. Stir until the ice cools the coffee down and pour into a glass. I agree with another reviewer who says that the secret to making this is to have VERY strong coffee or espresso!

The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
These are wonderful as is! The second time I made it I followed the reviewers' advice and halved the crust ingredients for a thinner crust. The second time I also put it in an 8 X 11 glass pan and used 2/3 c lemon juice and 1/3 c flour as others had suggested (I used bottled lemon juice both times). Even though the original recipe is excellent, it is 6 stars with the changes! Do spray your pan with cooking spray, and a little bit of powdered sugar on top is very pretty. I keep these in the fridge right away because of the eggs.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
These are excellent! I have made these twice, and overbaked them twice. I would bake the dough for only 10-15 minutes, bake the lemon bars for 15-20 minutes, and use a glass pan rather than a dark non-stick metal pan. Watch these carefully, because by the time they get light golden brown they are hard around the edges and slightly burned. I would cut the decorative confectioner's sugar down to 1T because they get really messy with 1/3 c. I will keep making this - just baked for less time!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
My family loved this! I usually have a few suggestions to make, but I can't think of a anything that needs changing in this recipe. Maybe if I didn't have small kids I would add a lot more hot pepper sauce! :) I will make this again.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
This was very good! It was a bit salty for my taste (condensed soup and dressing mix are both very high in sodium). Next time I might not add the entire package of dressing mix - either that or double the recipe and still only use 1 pkg of dressing mix. I would be willing to try low sodium soup next time, or add some milk to thin it out some. I used cream of mushroom soup and it was very good. Sauteed or canned mushrooms would be a great addition to this recipe! Thanks for sharing this!

Neat Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
Great recipe! The only change I would make next time is to add only 1T of brown sugar. 1/4 c of brown sugar seemed to make this too sweet. A few dashes of hot pepper sauce would give it a little bit more flavor, too!
