Texas Sheet Cake V

Growing up in Texas, this cake is a tradition. Try adding about 1/2 cup drained maraschino cherries to the icing. May sound weird, but it has always been done in my family.

Restaurant-Quality Baked Potato Soup

Made this soup for a soup bar we had for 60 people at church this weekend. It was a hit and extremely easy. Gave the recipe out over and ove and my only complaint was that there were no leftovers.

Pie Crust IV

This is a great recipe. I needed to make six pie crusts and did all of the calculations to make all six with no trouble at all. Very easy to work with and is flakey and tastes great. Thanks for submitting!

Texas Sheet Cake II

I ABSOLUTELY love this recipe. My great grandmother made it all the time. It is wonderful exactly as written however I've always added 1/2 chopped (drained) maraschino cherries along with chopped walnuts in the icing portion and it gives it a whole new dimension.

Citrus Cheesecake

Wonderful flavor and really easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly but added 1/2 tsp orange extract (Penzey's). If you've never heard of Penzey's, it is definately worth trying. The only place I'll buy my spices and extracts.

Pepperoncini Beef

Was not quite sure as it was cooking because it smelled a little strong. Actually turned out great. Served it on whole wheat hoagies and provolone and kids loved it. Always a hit if it is easy and whole family eats.
