Turkey Jambalaya

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2014
The easiest Jambalaya I have ever made. Very quick...sauteed celery, garlic, onions and poblano pepper together with turkey Andouille. Used Better than Bouillon to create the stock. Added rice, Tony Chacheres seasoning, and canned tomatoes. Rice was not done to my liking so I added an 8oz can of tomato sauce. Great Recipe!!

Sonoran Tilapia

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2014
Very full of flavor. Wanted to try a new way to cook tilapia. I had all ingredients in house (except aneheim chili pepper - substituted a poblano instead) Will be my go to recipe.

Pina Colada III

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2013
Excellent. My first time successfully making Pina Colada for my extremely picky grandmother. Used Coco Lopez and omitted the sugar. Rounded all the ingredients up...she said it was awesome.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
MY FIRST HOMEMADE APPLE PIE!!! I made this recipe on Sunday. Today is Tuesday. There is one slice left. My son, who doesn't eat apple pie, now eats apple pie. Taking the advise of other reviewers, I added vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon (and I added a little extra butter and sugar. Placed the pie crust in the oven for a few minutes to brown, then added the apples and poured the syrup on top. Created my lattice, then poured the remainder of the syrup mixture over the top as per instructions. Too Delicious for words!! Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2011
Best Key Lime Pie...quick and easy recipe. I opted to make my own crust as others had suggested. Accidentally used 3 cans of condensed milk so added more sour cream and key lime juice. Took pie to a party, it was gone in minutes. Everyone raved, thought it was from a bakery. I should have made two. Took about 20 limes to make 3/4 cup but I soon learned slicing in half and squeezing with a garlic press made the process much easier.

Amber's Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2011
Awesome!!! Have made this many times I prefer ginger to the Five Spice. Totally great recipe. Forget restaurant Sesame Chicken. My son and boyfriend love it. I make my own teriyaki marinade by combining soy sauce and brown sugar along with the honey. Also, I prefer polbano peppers over green - they add much more flavor and are more economical!

Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
Best Darn Ham! Made this on December 24. I opted for honey, butter and brown sugar, not a fan of cloves. Basted, rubbed and rotated every 15 minutes as described. My family loved it! It was gone in less than two days. Everyone says it was better than Honeybaked. Thank you for the recipe.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
Awesome! I took another reviewers suggestion and also glazed the meatloaf, in addition to layering the pan with the ketchup and brown sugar. This recipe is a keeper, next time, I will blend the brown sugar and ketchup to layer the pan. I did not like the way it separated while cooking.

Real New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
I have made this recipe at least 10 times in the past few months. However, after reviewing a few other recipes, I do add granulated garlic, cayenne pepper, thyme and basil. This is the only way we eat shrimp now. I serve over Jasmine Rice along with French Bread for dipping.

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: May 9, 2009
I am not even a fan of Banana Pudding but this recipe is AWESOME! After reading a few reviews, I too cut the milk in half and added condensed milk. I also dipped the sliced bananas in a lemon juice/water mix. For decoration added crumbled wafers to the top. Easy to make and delicious to eat. I let a few banana pudding experts sample the dessert, they couldn't believe it.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
Absolutely Awesome! First time baking cheesecake..turned out fabulous. As with prior bakers, I used room temperature ingredients...the cake did not fall or crack. Baked at 325 for two hours I accidentally fell asleep it didn't matter, it was very brown, but still great. I also made Strawberry Supreme Topping (from this website) I couldn't have made a better cake and topping.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2009
Five Stars....Made this popcorn last night, can't stop eating it! Butter definitely makes this great. I also used other reviewers tips and set my oven temp to 200. Very easy clean up, used a buttered dutch oven. The best popcorn recipe ever. No need for speciality or gourmet popcorn anymore, I can create it in my own kitchen.

Clams Italiano

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
My son is scarfing them down as I write. Said these are the best clams he has ever eaten (he's 8). Tweaked the recipe as I was out of oregano. One cup of wine, butter, parsley, fresh garlic and a dash of granulated garlic made this recipe fabulous, easy and very quick.
