Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2014
I made this crust to use for a quiche that I made for a brunch. It was a huge hit. I made enough to fill a 9x11 pan and it turned out wonderful! I will use this crust again to make a sweeter dish next time, to compare the best way to use it. Thank you for the recipe!

California Melt

Reviewed: May 7, 2013
This sandwich was great! I changed a few things but it was amazing. My husband who doesn't like sandwiches asked if we could make these a weekly dinner menu item. My changes were, I added a thin cut chicken breast and a sauteed the mushrooms a little to make them tender. There are a lot of things you can add to this recipe but it was amazing and we didn't feel gross from all the fat it was perfect for a warm day when nothing heavy sounds good. I cannot praise this recipe enough, THANK YOU!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
This is my go to recipe every Sunday that my husband requests a roast. I have switched it up a lot since we are a family of hunters. I have used Elk roasts, pork roast, beef roast and I tried it with chicken. They were all very unique and the chicken was never attempted again. One reason I love this recipe so much is because I always have the ingredients in my cupboards. It is simple but very impressive when you serve to guests as they will think, and do, that you spent all day in the kitchen. GREAT RECIPE!!!!!

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
My family loves this recipe. I have made it a few times and it turns out a little different every time. It is amazing and has great taste every time but the meat is always different. Last time I made it the pork was shredded so I cooked up some pasta and we had a very unique but delicious dish. This dish also reheats nicely, it has the same flavor and the pork is not dry like it often is when reheated.

Hot Buffalo Chicken, Bacon, and Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
Great recipe. This is a go to summer recipe for me as the summer months are very crazy and busy.It works great if not everyone can be there when it is right out of the oven, it can always stay warm in the oven or can be eaten at room temp. It is a huge hit and the boys love that they can put what they want on it after I have followed the recipe. Thank you for this contribution!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
This recipe can not be rated with only 5 stars, it needs endless. This recipe has been a life saver for me more than one time. It has an ingredient list that I usually have most of in my cupboards and it is a huge hit with my family and friends as well. IT is a great soup to put on in the winter and come home to after a day outside or at work. The only change that I make is no beans. My husband cant eat beans so I make it without and it is still just a good as if it had them. I also add extra onion and a n extra envelope of taco seasoning. AMAZING RECIPE, Thank you!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2012
THis recipe was a huge hit. My father-in-law ate over half of them and asked for more. I used portobelo mini mushrooms and but the cayenne in half as we are not not and spicey people. They were an amazing treat and I will be making them again. Thank you!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2013
This was the best cobbler that I have had in a long time. Myself and my husband are not huge dessert eaters but I made this for a family dinner and it not only got eaten but we helped clean the dish. It has an amazing taste and I have made this with both fresh and frozen peaches, both are great but nothing really beats fresh. The only thing I would change is to add more biscuit topping, the amount made from recipe didnt cover the cobbler and that was one of the favorite parts of the dish. All in all, it is AMAZING!

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2013
THis is my go to cobbler for events. I use about a cup more berries than it asks for only because you can never have too many! This is a great cobbler for people who don't love cobbler because the crust is sweet and amazing and the entire dish is great right out of the over. My husband loves blackberry season even though I have done it with peaches, apples, and raspberries...all good but not as great as the blackberries

Roasted Asparagus and Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2013
Great recipe for a healthy additive to a busy work week dinner. I have made this over and over and every time I get rave reviews by my family. I will substitute different seasonings for the rosemary if I don't think it will go with what I am fixing. This is a tender recipe and it goes well with almost any meal you serve up and one last thing, I have substituted brussels sprouts for asparagus too, not too bad, we are big sprout eaters so it was worth a shot and it paid off.
