Coffee Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2012
Vey easy and very tasty frosting. Used it for the first time on a chocolate cake and it was really good. I don't even like coffee and I added 2TB instead of one for a really good flavor. Will use again.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2012
I made this cake for my daughter's birthday and it was a huge hit. THE best chocolate cake I've ever made. I didn't change a thing aside from making it into a 9x13 instead of a bundt cake. And I used a mocha frosting on it that completely complimented the taste of the cake. Wonderful recipe, I'll use it many more times.

Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: May 20, 2012
Made this today for the first time and it was a hit! Totally gone at the end of dinner too. The only thing I changed is instead of using regular instant rice, I put in a pouch of Lipton Chicken flavored rice and it added a lot of flavor to the dish. Definitely one I'll make again per the requests from the family.

Brownie Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
I made this yesterday for Easter and....wow! It came out absolutely perfect and tastes great! I'm sure it'll get rave reviews today. The only change I have to mention is it took longer than 50 minutes to bake. More like 90. The edges were done at 50 minutes but the middle was still soupy. 90 minutes had it completely done and after cooling it in the fridge and tasting it, my husband said how good it was and my daughter loved it. Amazing recipe!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
I made these today to try them out before servings them for Super Bowl tomorrow. I never used a deep fryer either so I went out and bought one just to make these. Wow! These turned out perfect! Very crispy, very tasty and everybody loved them. I'll have no problems serving these tomorrow. Thanks for an awesome recipe.

Oven Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
I've never had much success with making roasts. They always end up tough and hard to cut. This recipe was so easy, and everyone in the house LOVED it and raved over it. Out of 5 people, there are no leftovers. I did what one of the reviewers recommended. I added season salt, salt and pepper and onion powder to the flour mixture. After searing all sides of the roast in the pan, I kept it in the pan and put it in the oven. I did not use wine, but a whole envelope of Lipton Onion Soup Mix and a can of beef broth. Two hours into baking, I added cut up onions, carrots and B red potatoes. Came out absolutely perfect and I'll never make a roast any other way. Thank you!

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2010
VERY GOOD oatmeal cookie recipe. The only thing I did different was the chips. I didn't know if the family would be bit butterscotch fans, so I did 1/2 cup butterscotch chips, 1/2 cup chocolate chips. I also added a dash of vanilla extract as well, (I saw other people reviewing this cookie added it so I figures why not?). Everyone loved the cookies. I brought some to work and they got rave reviews as well. I made them a little smaller as well, and ended up with almost 5 dozen cookies. I'll definitely make them again!

Christmas Cookie Cut Outs

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I was so excited to try this recipe, but it did not work for me. The dough never did get to the consistency of being able to roll out. I then decided to just roll the dough into balls and bake it. Well, I found the cookies to be very airy and they didn't have much taste. It was like biting into a tasteles air cookie. The frosting was WAY TOO SWEET. I made a different batch of cut-out cookies and used the frosting recipe, and while everyone loved the sugar cookie, no one would eat them once frosted because it was too sweet. Someone commented they could go into a diabetic coma after eating one of those cookies, (of course they were kidding, but still). I wouldn't recommend this recipe. Sorry, I was disappointed.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
Easy, great tasting recipe. I made these the other day when someone gave me a big bag of M&M's. Cookies came out perfect, but I did bake them about 12-14 minutes, and I only ended up with a few more than 3 dozen cookies. I did use rounded teaspoons too. Not complaining though because they looked good and tasted great. They didn't last long in my house either. I will post a picture as well. These will be going on my cookie platter at Christmas time.

Peanut Butter Candy Blossoms

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
This was a good recipe, but only if you can follow the directions precisely. I swear, I am good at that, but for some reason, it took me 3 times to get this one right. I think I had too many distractions. The first time I forgot the sugar, and I had great looking cookies that crumbled to powder when you tried to eat them. The second time, I only put in 1 cup of flour, so they spread all over the cookie sheet and ran into eachother, but they tasted good. Today I finally got it right and they came out tasting good and looking great. This is an easy fast recipe if you're not constantly interrupted and preoccupied. I'll make them again, they're almost gone already.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: May 2, 2009
So like most women, it's almost that time of the month and I want to eat anything sweet. So I decided to try this recipe to curb my sweet tooth. I'd say they're the easiest cookies to make and they look as perfect as they taste. Thanks for a great recipe that was not only quick and easy, but was just what I needed!

Juicy Thanksgiving Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
I've never made a turkey before, mostly because I never had to for Thanksgiving and I was always afraid to mess up something so big and expensive. Well, my husband brought a free turkey home from work for Christmas, and I found this recipe. Today, we both got together to make this 15lb. turkey. I have to say, it's probably the best turkey I've ever had!!! We were a great team, (I prepared everything, but he got to clean out the turkey and stuff it). The turkey was in the oven about 3 hrs., then I opened the foil up for 30 mins. as directed. After it came out and sat for 15 minutes, the electric knife cut that turkey like it was meant for display; better than my Mom's on any Thanksgiving day. I called and told her we would make it this year. Thankyou for a wonderful recipe even I can follow!
