Meatloaf Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2013
We love this recipe, just how it is, except one thing! I add bacon. I slightly precook the bacon and then wrap it around the outside of the loaf. My family goes nuts with the three different meats and oozy gooey cheese! Love it! Thanks.

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
Very flavorful, added a little garlic salt. Also a good alternative to the crackers is salt and pepper chips or salt and vinegar chips!! I've used both very yummy!

Grandma B's Bean Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
I add chicken bouillon to make it more flavorful, 3 cubes for the whole recipe. But this is a great recipe! Just like my grandmother in-laws, but I gave it four stars because it's just so much soup. It filled my 6 quart slow cooker! And after about 8 hours of cooking it started to get mushy. So my suggestion would be to spit the recipe in half and personally I don't want my beans and potatoes to be mush so 6-8 hours in the slow cooker is plenty long enough.

World's Best Pasta Sauce!

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
Love this sauce and the Lasagna recipe, but I've made a few changes. I use ground pork instead of Italian sausage. When I brown it I add 1 tbsp Italian seasoning and 1 tbsp sugar. I use 1.5 lbs beef. I also use 8 oz cans of tomato sauce. I skip the fennel seeds and use parsley instead. My family loves it. I do that same thing in the lasagna sauce too and it turns out great every time.

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
Good recipe, but not the best cookies, came out more like muffin tops, so I deiced to add about 1/4 cup milk and about 1/4 cup more white sugar, put it in a 8x8 pan and baked it like a cake at 350 for about 40 minutes. I then made a butter cream glaze out of confectioners sugar and butter and iced it. My family loved it, my daughter asked if I can make it for her birthday cake this year!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
It was okay, defiantly tasted like a beef stew, but was missing something. Needs some extra kick or flavor.

Love it, another great recipe. It's a perfect sweet glaze that my husband and kids love. The sauce works great on top of potatoes or rice too!

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
This is a GREAT marinate, my husband and kids and I love it. I use it almost every time we make pork chops, it's a great alternative to grilling. Plus my husband loves using the sauce on mashed potatoes or rice.
