Chef John's Ham and Potato Soup
What a delicious soup! I had about 1/2 cup of a homemade cheese sauce leftover from some macaroni and cheese that I'd made a few days ago that I threw in with the soup. I have 3 picky eaters and all three kids gobbled this right up. This will be going on a regular rotation in our home. Thanks!

Extreme Chocolate Cake
This is a perfect chocolate cake recipe! I always use 1 cup of hot brewed coffee in place of the boiling water. You can't taste the coffee once it's been baked, but boy oh boy does it bring out the flavor of the chocolate. It doesn't get any better than this! It's moist, rich, and truly a perfect chocolate cake.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes
I thought this recipe was fantastic! I didn't have any onions on hand so I used some onion powder in the cheese sauce and it gave it a lovely flavor without overpowering the cheese. The last 10 minutes of cooking time, I took off the foil and let the oven get the tops of the potatoes a little "toasted" and crispy. Fantastic side dish!
