Chef John's Ham and Potato Soup
What a delicious soup! I had about 1/2 cup of a homemade cheese sauce leftover from some macaroni and cheese that I'd made a few days ago that I threw in with the soup. I have 3 picky eaters and all three kids gobbled this right up. This will be going on a regular rotation in our home. Thanks!

Extreme Chocolate Cake
This is a perfect chocolate cake recipe! I always use 1 cup of hot brewed coffee in place of the boiling water. You can't taste the coffee once it's been baked, but boy oh boy does it bring out the flavor of the chocolate. It doesn't get any better than this! It's moist, rich, and truly a perfect chocolate cake.

Tri-Level Brownies
My mom used to makes these when we were kids and they were a family favorite. Now I make them for my family. The directions for the frosting don't include adding enough hot water or fresh brewed coffee just until the icing becomes spreadable. It's a fabulous frosting and really sets these brownies apart. Delicious!
