Adrienne's Tom Ka Gai

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
I've been following this recipe for the past few years and have always had success. I use shrimp instead of chicken, because it tastes more like the one we get at the local restaurant. Also, I can do without the bok choy, but it doesn't ruin the flavor too much. I agree with the other review that a squeeze of lime in the soup at the end really brings out the flavors.

Need I really say more?!? so good, everyone enjoyed it, it was pretty sweet. I didn't add lemon or mint to garnish. Will make it again.

Beefy Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
Second time I'm making this, so easy to make! I did use modifications that others had made: used salsa instead of ketchup, added taco seasoning to ground beef, added minced garlic in with the onions and rice and a little extra water (1/2 cup). I think those alterations made it tasty and even my picky 2 year old ate some (I'm talking picky like she'll only eat mac n cheese and chicken nuggets). Enjoy!

Amy's Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
Come out perfect every time! I didn't have cheese crackers one time so I just put in buttery type crackers and it was still great. Nice base to take and make your own.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

YUMMERS! Me and husband enjoyed this very much. I was a little skeptical of the cheese crackers in it, but it was delish! Will be making these again. Thanks for the great recipe!

Very good! I let the meat marinate for 2 days and I think that made a big difference

Salmon with Creamy Dill Sauce

Reviewed: May 2, 2009
Very simple and quick to prepare. I used fillets and added sprigs of dill to the top along with the lemon and onion. The sauce is good too, but when I made it it was a bit thick (not sure if it's supposed to be) so I had a little more lemon juice. I put more dill in the sauce too. I've made a variation of this sauce by adding cucumber instead of onion and that's refreshing! Try it!

Easy Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
Ok, so good! I base my ratings on whether my 2 year old will eat it -- and she ate it! I did use modifications (as usual!), cream of mushroom soup etc. I think that made the difference. Yummers.. Thank you everyone!

Spicy Garlic and Pepper Shrimp

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
This recipe was so good and easy! Husband was enjoying it so much he didn't leave too much left overs for me. But that's ok. I did find the red pepper flakes to be too much so next time I make this it will definitely be cut down to what I would usually use to season it.

Blackened Chicken

Been using this recipe for the past 5 years and it never fails. It's quick and easy for a weeknight meal. I've served this along with fetuccini and it's balances out the creaminess.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
AWESOME! I just fell in love with my slow cooker recently. This made my kitchen smell yummy. I used a lot of modifications: tomato paste, not so much sauce (it does kinda get runny), Italian seasoning sprinkled on veggies -- made a huge difference. Thank you all the reviewers!

Honey Walnut Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
Very delicious! Easy to make. I made a mistake of adding all the mochiko to the egg whites so it was a like a big ball of glue rather than a batter, a little water helped with that. Tastes just like the restaurant. Happy cooking!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
Easy and delicious. I didn't make the frosting but I think I will next time. I also made it exactly as the recipe is written and I yielded 9 small brownies (I don't know why 9!) Anyway, I'd probably double the recipe.

Angel Hair with Feta and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

YUM! This was so easy to whip up for dinner. I added some rotisserie chicken I had from the store to the pasta. I didn't really use the measurements in the recipe, you can adjust it to your tastes. Enjoy!

Easy Lemon Cookies

I'm a chocaholic but these cookies made me a believer. Not overwhelmingly lemony, which is why I don't eat lemon bars that much. So easy and quick!

So yummmy! Followed the recipe using suggestions of others: no salt and no sugar. I had dried rosemary at home so I used that. I had everything at home so it was a easy peasy!

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
Just made this as part of our dinner tonight and it was good! Very simple to make. I used the suggestions of others: used frozen mix of peas and carrots (thawed out a bit), sesame oil is definite must. I added green onion which made it taste even better. I fried the egg with some green onion before anything else and then removed it. Threw the veggies in tossed the egg back in then added some soy sauce to that. After cooking that for about 3 minutes, I added the rice and some more soy sauce. The sesame oil was added after a few stirs. Yummers!

Super simple and delicious! I used day old french bread and it soaks up all the batter. My 1 year old and husband loved it
