Blueberry Bread II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2013
Followed the recipe exactly and my bread machine directions but it turned green anyway and was dry.

Vegan Red Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2013
I really was excited when I saw this recipe. This was ok but bland to me. I had to add a ton of salt to bring out the flavor. So much for a healthy recipe. I have no idea how a recipe could have so many spices and still taste like nothing without salt.

Buttermilk Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2013
This was amazing. I never have even heard of buttermilk pie so I no idea what to expect. I used a deep dish pie pan with a store bought crust and it came out awesome. Followed the recipe exactly even the cooking time. Would not change a thing. I'll be making this for the next picnic.

Sauerkraut and Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
Made a double batch of these for an Oktoberfest themed birthday party and they were all gone. They would be just as good without the kraut.

Throw it Together Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2005
I was very skeptical that this would turn out well because it seemed so easy. It came out perfect. Great for a breakfast bread. next time I will probably omit the nuts and maybe add a glaze for a topping.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2005
These muffins rock! I made these for a co-worker who was leaving and I had to fight off my boyfriend and roommate from eating all of them before I broght them to work. They are not overly sweet because of the fresh bluberries (I am used to the sugar soaked ones in store bought muffins). They have a great light taste and texture which makes them just perfect for breakfast or a summer picnic. I will be bringing these to my family's 4th of july picnic instead of predictable potato salad.

Cranberry Apple Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2005
The topping sank and didn't look very appetising, but it tasted great. A welcome change to the same old side dishes every holiday.

Marrakesh Vegetable Curry

Even my non-vegatarian meat and potatoes roommate loved it. I hate eggplant but gave it a try and it turned out so good I make it often.

Coconut Rum Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2004
These didn't turn out well at all. They were too strong and everyone at work was getting buzzed off them. I guess that could be good if you are looking to get your guests tipsy, but I didn't like them.

Chili I

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2004
I didn't have the coco powder so I used a handfull of semi-sweet chips. It still turned out great. My new favorite chili recipe.

Lumps, lumps, and more lumps....tasty, but man there were a lot of lumps!!! I stirred it for a good 20 minutes straight and it was still lumpy!

Biscotti Toscani

These were so tasty but a bit of work to make. They were well worth the trouble. I made these last year for the holiday season and plan to again this year.

Everyone loved these once they figured out they weren't chocolate. They all said "woah, what is this?" and ate them all.

These are soooo easy and yummy. I am allergic to walnuts so I only had one, but everybody else gobbled them up.

Easy Creamy Vanilla Fudge

This fudge was very quick and easy, but it really didn't taste that good. It was way too sugary, but it was ok for homemade.
