I was so inspired reading these glowing reviews, I had to whip up my own Fried Chicken Sunday dinner! This is hands-down the best fried chicken I've ever had! I've tried making it before with other recipes, and definitely did not have these wonderful results! I got rave reviews! An easy five stars!

Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2001
This is a wonderful recipe! I made this for a baby shower, and got raves (and an empty salad bowl!!) I added 1/3 cup sunflower seeds, and used two bags of spinach, instead of the iceburg lettuce. You've got to try it!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2001
These were wonderful! They had a very fine texture, and tasted amazing. I took me two batches to get the desired heighth, and I solved my dilemma by not rolling the dough out at all. After kneading, I merely patted it smooth, leaving the dough very thick for the cutting out. They turned out enormous!

Strawberry Shortcake

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2002
The shortcake was very dense....almost Bisquick-like. I was looking for more of a tender texture, and this was very heavy and on the dry side. I'll keep looking for a perfect old fashioned shortcake recipe!

Peach Cobbler II

Well, this was my second attempt at this cobbler, and it still turned out like cobbler soup! It ~tastes~ so delicious that I feel I must be doing something wrong.....I suppose I could've tried cutting the water to 1 cup?

Jay's Jerk Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2002
This was a great recipe! Those looking for more 'kick' should substitute a habanero pepper for the jalapeno.....and then watch out! I also added a couple cloves of minced garlic, and sliced the chicken into strips to serve over rice.
