Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
5 stars for ease and taste compared to similar dishes. I have tried these several times with different modifications based on reviews and have found that the recipe as written minus the taco seasoning pack is the best. I use chicken tenderloins. Serve with flour tortillas and desired fixings.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
Perfect! This was my first time making Greek dressing. I followed the recipe exactly except scaling down to 6 servings. It was delicious. Will make more to keep out and use often.

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
Best I ever made thanks to these tips from other reviewers. All ingredients room temp, mix sausage and biscuit mix thoroughly and then mix in finely shredded cheese. Bake for 20 minutes and cool in a tightly covered container lined with paper towels. I used hot sausage and extra sharp cheddar.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
2nd time making this recipe. Used a little less oil for onions and garlic, crushed canned tomatoes (instead of whole), a can of diced tomatoes, italian seasoned bread crumbs(instead of fresh plain), and 2 eggs (instead of 1). Entire family raved!

Spanakopita II

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2009
Great! First time using phyllo and it was a little challenging but well worth it. I used 2 eggs instead of 4, 1 large onion instead of 2, sauteed some garlic with it and included some parm cheese as well.

Egg in a Hole

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2009
5 stars for being easy and tasty. I toasted the holes along side and used them for mopping up the yolk. Might crack my egg a little sooner next time to ensure completely done whites.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
Used a 4.5 lb boston butt roast, cooked in the crock on med for about 8 hours. Otherwise followed the recipe as written. It was good, not great. A little to "mushy" for my liking.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
Very good! Chopped up chicken that I baked in a little broth, sauteed garlic, onion, celery, and carrots in butter, threw in a bay leaf, thickened with a little cream of chicken soup and used homemade amish noodles. Kept the rest the same. A keeper!

Corn Dogs

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
Great! Followed these reviewer's suggestions...patted dogs dry and lightly covered w/ flour. I also placed batter in the freezer in a tall drinking glass about 15min before using. My family and several of my 11 year old daughter's friends LOVED them and they were fun to make.

Mexican Rice I

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
Enjoyed this recipe. Used rotel (about 3/4 can and all the liquid as a substitiute for equal parts water)as suggested by others. Thought it was missing a little something...added shredded cheese to the top on the reheat and liked it even better.

Rainbow Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
My favorite pasta salad. I like it best with more fresh chopped veggies (typically not including broccoli),an italian blend shredded cheese, and zesty italian dressing. The pepperoni and olives are a must in my opinion. Husband and 11 year old love it too.
