These turned out perfectly! I followed the recipe exactly and they were awesome! Love the cayenne pepper...adds just a perfect little kick. We had it with potato soup...yummy! I did melt butter and added garlic powder and brushed them right when they came out of the oven. It's a keeper! Thanks for the recipe!

Zippy Praline Bacon

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
WOW!!! Just made the reviews first so i microwaved my bacon 5 slices at a time for 1 min 30 seconds...greatly reduced the grease amount in the oven! Then I placed them on the foil lined cookie sheet that I sprayed with Pam and cooked for about 7-8 minutess. Also read the reviews about cooling on the pan vs. draining on a paper towel, so I improvised and took them immediately off the pan and onto my cookie cooling rackthe I placed on old newspaper to catch any greaswe. But there was very little dripping due to microwaving. Clean up was a snap! Thanks for a great recipe...for sure a keeper : )

Blueberry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
Just made this recipe this week...FABULOUS!!! I couldn't really understand how the lemon yogurt would work it, but it was a fantastic refreshing twist on traditional chicken salad. I used chicken I had baked with soul food seasoning the night before. I would have to say that the more flavorful the chicken the better the recipe will turn out. Loved it!!! Thanks for sharing : )

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
Awesome! I took some of the suggestions...I used half brown and half white sugar, 3 bananas and only 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder. I also added 1/2 cup sour cream...they were awesome! I make a muffin similar to this so my kids thought this was a dream come true...a cookie that tastes like their favorite muffin! Thanks for sharing : )

Angel Whispers

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
Just made these for my husband for father's day...they were awesome! He loved them! I did add 2 spoonfuls of sour cream to the dough...they were incredible...not dry at all. Followed the filling recipe exactly...turned out great. I put the filling in a small bowl and refrigerated it and they are making the sandwiches as they eat them. Next time I will roll the dough and cut it so they are nice and round like in the picture. Great recipe! Thank you!

Bacon Cheddar Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
this is a great recipe! a guy at work makes them all the time. he stretches the thinly sliced bacon all the way around the pepper so that you can't see any of the pepper. he cooks them on a broiling pan and places them in the slots so all the bacon drippings fall into the bottom pan...which makes the bacon crisp up. he cooks them for a lot longer though...usually 45 minutes. and to add an extra kick, he dust each popper with louisiana seasoning. there is nothing better! they are awesome warmed up later in the microwave! another hint is to cut then freeze your cheese before wrapping. that will help it stay inside also. happy eating!
