Pan Seared Salmon I

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2010
Love it! Cooked just like the recipe. I noticed that a lot of the capers fell off during searing so I added a few after, but this is a GREAT recipe. Super easy and tastes just as good as another salmon recipe I made that had lots more ingredients and 3x more work. I love this recipe. Will be making it tonight. Also, I made a special horseradish sauce for dipping that complimented very nicely.

Creamy Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2010
I thought I followed the directions exactly, including removing from heat and covering the pan with a lid to keep it warm. The sauce was great for about 5 minutes, then it separated and I could not fix it. That could just be novice cooking. So, my 3 stars is because it was way too lemony and I even reduced the lemon juice to 3 tbsp.

Blender Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2010
It tastes great and is very easy to make, but a little too much lemon flavor and I just can't get past not cooking the eggs. Seems like the eggs need to be cooked.....that's why so many recipes use a double boiler! Looking for a new recipe.

Easy Tilapia with Wine and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
We did not like this at all. I gave two stars because we didn't follow the recipe exactly, otherwise, I would probably give only 1 star. I followed the suggestions of many and cooked in the oven at 400 for 20 minutes, wrapped individually in foil. I also increased the garlic, basil, and tomatoes and halved the wine (I used pinot grigio) as many reviewers suggested. However, this was still a soggy mess without much flavor. It was extremely bland. I think grilling would improve it because it might add some flavor. However, wrapped in foil with the wine, it would likely still be a soggy mess Our kids love tilapia, but did not like this recipe either. I was so disappointed since this recipe has been so highly rated. I definitely will not make this again.

Green Chili Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2010
Very good. My picky husband loved it! I thought it had too much processed cheese. I put about half 4 cheese mexican mix and half processed on the next try and it tasted much better to me.
