Chicago-Style Hot Dog

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
I had never had this style of hot dog before I tried this recipe....so I was skeptical. But now, I'm a fan! We loved them! Next time we'll buy hotter sport peppers. We chose mild. Wished it was a little warmer. Followed recipe to a tee. Delicious!

Wonderful recipe. Thank you! I added a little cinnammon, nutmeg & allspice and topped with extra brown sugar. I also tossed in a cup of frozen blueberries based on another review. Will def make again!

Chicken Fried Steak III

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
I used this recipe as my FIRST attempt at Chicken Fried Steak. Overall, for my first time, it came out decent. I followed the suggestions and breaded with flour, egg & then flour again. I also took the suggestion of a reviewer and fried low and slow and my breading did well at staying on. The gravy had a bite to it. Hubby LOVED it. I had a hard time getting gravy to thicken, but I think that has more to do with my experience is making gravy, rather than the recipe. Overall, it's a good recipe. I have alot more to learn with the art of Chicken Fried Steak. Lucky for me, my hubby doesn't mind being my taste tester...haha!

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
My picky 11 year old daughter said "Wow, Mom!" This marinade is a keeper. I did add a little minced onion and garlic salt to the pork chops. I doubled the marinade and marinaded all day. Cooked covered for 30 minutes and then topped with a second doubled batch of the marinade, cooked an additional 20 minutes, removed foil and broiled for 5 minutes. DELICIOUS!

Buckeye Balls I

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
Super Easy! Buckeyes themselves are a bit time consuming, but overall it's an easy recipe and I get raves and requests for the recipe all the time! I gave out small tins of these for Christmas and everyone LOVED them! Once you remove the toothpick, you can dot your CLEAN hands in water and tap each top, it'll "erase" the hole mark to make it look more authentic.

French Toast Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
Delicious! Made as is, except I didn't use any nuts because of family allergies......it was PERFECT! I like that it's easily prepared in the morning. I used fresh blueberries and they were so plump after baking, it looked beautiful! Thanks for a great recipe!

I made the recipe as is, except I did add raisins and walnuts....it was DELICIOUS! It definately got better over the next few days, so I suggest making ahead of time. I made it on 12/23 and we ate it Christmas Morning. My in-laws and parents took a loaf home...it got RAVE reviews! Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Hot Buffalo Chicken, Bacon, and Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
This was a great sandwich! We left off the onions, because I didn't have any and I doubled the hot wing sauce. Other than that, made it just as said and we enjoyed it! Will definately make again!

Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
I made this for my husband's Christmas Party at work this year. It was hit...no leftovers. I made it exactly how the recipe followed and received lots of compliments. Different from the normal "broc-rice casserole." Nice change!
