Seven Layer Dip I

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
To me the qty of some of the ingrediants for a 9 X 13 pan were not enough. I changed/used the following: 2 pounds ground beef, I browned the ground beef and then added Taco Seasoning like the previous reviews. 2 (16 ounce) can refried beans with jalapenos 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream 1 (16 ounce) container guacamole 2 cup salsa 1 cup chopped tomatoes 1 cup chopped green onions I did not change the other ingrediants quantities. All in all a good recipie...Thanks

Garlic Basil Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: May 10, 2009
Excellent receipie!!!!! I added 1/3 cup milk since I thought it was too thick without it. I also added Ground Red Cayenne Pepper for a little kick. It leaves a good after taste!! But I think that papirka would be just as good. Made this for my wife on Mother's Day! She loved it with meatloaf and turnip greens, which I also cooked for her on her day! I also drizzled butter over the top of them to accent the flavor, with pepper.

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
Excellent recipie I cooked it in a crock pot for 3-4 hrs on Hi. I seasoned the chicken with Lemon Pepper as did some other reviewers. I used Thighs skin on, bone in. After I seasoned the chicken I layed them down in the crock pot skin down. I used shredded montery jack and American cheese..I did not have any swiss. I then put in 1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables w/ brocolli. I used 1 can of cream of chicken soup & 1 can of cream of mushroom soup mixed with the milk. I microwaved the butter and added it to the Cornbread dressing and topped the veg/chicken/cheese with this. I topped this mixture after cooking over wide egg noodles. It came out great! My wife loved it! She loves it when I cook. I will make this for our kids the next time we are togther.
