This is delicious. I made this for 375 women this weekend for our Christmas Tea. I've heard nothing but rave reviews and have had so many requests for the recipe. I followed the recipe exactly, except I omitted the green pepper. And I sprinkled some extra cheese on the top. I cubed the bread and let it sit out, loosely covered for 2 days to harden a bit. I mixed the bread into two of the pans the night before and it seemed to soak up most of the moisture. I was afraid they would be too dry so I waited and mixed the other 14 pans the morning of and let them sit for a half hour before baking. I found they all turned out the same. The ones I mixed the night before had plumped up and released some of the moisture during the night and were not dry at all. So, I will definitely mix everything the night before next time I make this.
