yum, yum, yum, i've been cooking for years and lost my recipes in a flood when I moved a couple of years ago. I haven't made cornbread since. Tonight I had Beans on the stove and realized I didn't have bread.. So I ran to the computer and typed in best corn bread.. this one looked the most like what i've made in the past.. It was better!!! My husband (who is not a corn bread lover) loved it. I used 3/4 cup evaporated milk a tablespoon of lemon juice and filled up the cup with water for the buttermilk.. mmm mmmm sooooooo good!
