Cinnamon Apple and Havarti Tea Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2011
Well I bought green apples just to try this recipe out.. and of course they were the one "snack" my kids chose last night before bed... and of course we were out of my son's favorite food -Cream Cheese-... so I did still attempt to make this becuase I was craving it thismorning... I used Honey Crisp Apples, I toasted the Raisin Bread (I like crunch) & used Havarti Cheese (MY Favorite) and it was fantastic. Made it for breakfast for myself with a cup of Almond Milk and it was a very light healthy feeling Breakfast. I would definately make again! Only next time I will make sure we have cream cheese and my kids don't eat all the Granny Smith Apples!

Cinnamon Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
I did a search for Cinnamon Pie after watching the Dual Spires episode of Psych... This is the only recipe that even popped up under allrecipes for a cinnamon Pie. This recipe Extremely Easy to make... like extremely easy... which is a good thing for me. A lot of times recipes like this are way too complicated... This took about 15 minutes to prepare with the kids getting in the way and 45 min to bake and about an hour to cool at room tempature. Mine didn't really look like the picture though.. I know some people said it looks 'ugly' beucase of the color, yes, it is ugly, but to me it looks like a pumpkin pie just a little on the darker side. If you like cinnamon you will like this... and if you are not a HUGE cinnamon fan.. I still think you might like it.. I am not huge on cinnamon, but I will definately make this again.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
I LOVE these, they are so simple to make! a lot of people make this recipe even harder than it should be!... I buy chocolate chips in the bunk section at the store, all i do is put a ton of chocolate chips in a microwaveable tuperware container, i put it in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, depending on how many chocolate chips you use depends on how long it takes, but usually I microwave until the middle gets soft and i stir them all together. when the middle is soft you should be good to go... just mix the chocolate chips all together and you don't have to worry about over heating your chocolate, the melted chocolate chips are warm and melt the other chocolate chips that have not melted yet, just let it sit for a few minutes, dip your strawberrys and place on wax paper (I also like to dip fresh bananas, pretzels, nuts, ext.)
