SOOOO good. My husband said it was the best he ever had. - I used double the garlic. lemon juice from the bottle, and dried parsley. And I used cooked shrimp, unthawed and baked for 7 min. PERFECT!

Easy Cheese Ball II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
I made this for New Years Eve and it was a huge hit. It's a big cheeseball and it was gone. A few changes: I chopped up 4-5 green onions, added 1/4-1/2 tsp garlic powder, mixed in some bacon bits and then rolled it in bacon bits instead of pecans. I got RAVE reviews. Thanks!!!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
So good!!! This soup was amazing. I put the chicken in frozen and then shredded about 4 hours later. I added black beans, corn, minute rice, 2 tsp garlic and it was perfect. We topped it off with lime, green onions, cheese, avocados and chips. Amazing!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
This soup was absolutely amazing! I make a lot of soups and my husband said this was probably the best soup he's ever had! And that's saying a lot, because he can be picky. A few changes: I added 1/2 tsp of celery seed instead of celery and 1 tsp of garlic and a little bit of thyme. I also crumbled up about 3 strips of bacon which I think added great flavor. I didn't have chicken bouillion granules so I used 4 cubes. I also found that with the milk mixture you had to turn it up to med-high heat the really get that thickness (stirring almost constantly). Served with dinner rolls it was an amazing dinner!!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
We tried this for the Super Bowl and it was very good! I think next time I would use half of the taco seasoning, simply because I like the taste of the beans more. Instead of the tomato and lettuce layers I did LuvAnn's fresh guacamole. While i completely LOVE this guac it doesn't stay good on the dip for long. I wouldn't make it in hope of a snack for several days, it is definitely meant to be eaten right away. It fits into a 9x13 dish very well, but you could half it into an 8x8 I think. I put more beans in it because the amount of beans was really small to the amount of cream cheese and sour cream. They were not even close amounts. Other then that this dip was a huge hit. People ate so much that they weren't hungry for the pizza later!

LuvAnn's Guacamole

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
I've been looking for a great guac recipe and this was very good! I made some changes: 4 med avacados (very smashed), 2 roma tomatoes (1 in the food processor and 1 sliced), I added a little more cilantro then called for, 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic, and I added 3 small jalapenos (seeded). We really liked it, but I still felt like it needed a little more of a kick, if you like it a little spicy. I think next time I will try some other suggestions such as cumin and cayenne pepper. - OH! I forgot to mention that the only salt I added was a few sprinkles out of the shaker which was perfect
