Kitty Litter Cake

my kids loved forming the tootsie rolls. My father-in-law took this to work and they would not touch it. Thought it was real! He said it was really good!

Sirloin Tips and Mushrooms

I made this for my boyfriend. He absolutely loved it. I added 1 cup of wine and next time I make it I will drain the mushrooms before adding them.

No Bake Cheesecake I

This was sooooo good however I made some changes. I used frozen southern hash browns that I heated in the microwave until the chill was off of them. I also did not add chopped onion and added almost a whole small container of sour cream. I will make this again.

The Best Banana Bread

I chose this recipe because the prep time was shorter than my mom's bread she always makes. This is a very moist bread. I changed margarine to unsalted butter, added a little vanilla, and chopped pecans. It made quite a bit of batter so I placed extra in a little loaf pan for my daughter. She liked having her own little loaf!! I must add that my mom liked this recipe so much better than hers that she threw hers away! LOL

Soft Molasses Cookies V

Cookies were pretty good. I think they could of stood more spices. They were very soft...just how I like them. Dough needs to be refridgerated for MORE THAN an hour.

Green Grog

(without alcohol)- kids love the sweet taste (alcohol added) - adults liked it but thought it was a little too sweet. Make sure everything is cold when it is prepared. If anything is added that is warm, it makes the whole punch warm. Chill rum before adding to punch.

Rhubarb Crunch

A friend of ours lets me pick rhubarb from his farm for free whenever I need some. I found this recipe and made 1 pan each for him and his grown granddaughter. They both refused to share with anyone else!! They loved it and so does my kids. I bake each one in a small glass casserole dish so there is more crunchy top for it!!!
