I chose this recipe because the prep time was shorter than my mom's bread she always makes. This is a very moist bread. I changed margarine to unsalted butter, added a little vanilla, and chopped pecans. It made quite a bit of batter so I placed extra in a little loaf pan for my daughter. She liked having her own little loaf!!
I must add that my mom liked this recipe so much better than hers that she threw hers away! LOL
