Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
Even with Worchestershire sauce it was still pretty bland. Needs to up the meat; reduce potatoes.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Yum yummy...very well done. I replaced the shortening with butter and cooked for 13 minutes. Cut in butter with my hands as I couldn't locate the pastry blender.

Definitely a winner here! I did throw in 2 garlic cloves and the beer of choice was Budlight. Very tasty!

Very yummy! Would also recommend using as a "fruit cocktail" of sorts for a more everyday use.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
Very delicious flavor, but I had trouble keeping my meatballs "solid". They seemed to want to fall apart. I'm assuming operator error (pack tighter?) or more bread crumbs were needed.

Very delicious! Reserve the marinade and use with the Brown Rice, Broccoli, Cheese and Walnut surprise dish that is on allrecipes. Amazing!

Brown Rice, Broccoli, Cheese and Walnut Surprise

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
AMAZING combo! I made this with the Grilled Salmon recipe here and reserved the marinade (used about 1/4 cup) to pour over the rice and it turned into a restaurant quality Chinese dish. I swapped Walnuts for roasted slivered almonds. Baked at 375 for 20 minutes with 1/4c cheese in the casserole and 1/4c cheese on top. Delicious and can definitely be a meal all by itself.

Cheddar Puff Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
Not terribly impressive. I only used 1 egg per others' suggestions and swapped the garlic powder for 2 garlic cloves. Good combination of flavors-just not enough "biscuit". I eeked out 10 biscuits and they were very small--no where near the 24 of the serving size. Not a repeat recipe.
