Awesome Bow Tie Pasta

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
So when I quickly skimmed over this recipe, I ran to the store to get ingredients, came back, and realized that the recipe was for a cold salad, not a dinner! So I used this as a base. I cooked the noodles, set aside. I bought chicken tenders, and cooked them up. I then chopped two large tomatoes, 3 green onions, 2 cloves fresh garlic, balsamic, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil, salt and pepper, oregano and a little crushed red pepper and mixed. After mixing, I added the tomato mixture to the noodles with the chicken, a dash of bread crumbs to thicken and a 6 oz. package of feta! It was AMAZING! My family was asking where I got the recipe from, so I thank you for the base of a wonderful new dish!! Try it!

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: May 26, 2010
Very good and easy recipe. Although, oddly enough, I did not have enough ketchup on hand so I used an entire bottle of chili sauce and added a bit more brown sugar to even out the tangyness. Came out great!

Rosemary Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: May 13, 2010
Not sure what to think of these. Very strong flavor. I think 1 tbls of rosemary would've been sufficient. The cookie itself has great shortbread flavor. Everyone who tried - turned away them came back a few minutes later wanting more! Same with myself! Did not like at all with the first try but kinda grows on you. Very interesting. Also rolled the dough in balls then rolled in sugar for a sweeter taste.

Strawberry Bread

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
Was a good, moist bread. Very tasty. However - I would definitely lessen the amount of cinnamon next time. It should be called Strawberry Cinnamon Bread! I added an entire pound of fresh strawberries and still couldn't really taste them. Was expecting more strawberry flavor.

Maple Walnut Fudge

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
Excellent, easy recipe. I followed the suggestion of boiling mix for 9-10 min. Definitely helped. Also added half brown sugar, half white and 3 tsp. of maple extract. Didn't have walnuts so added chopped pecans. Came out amazing!

Ham 'n' Noodle Hot Dish

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
Well all I had was either spaghetti noodles or lasagna! So I broke up the lasagna for a different shape. I also added sliced American and shredded extra sharp cheddar and a little Muenster! A sprinkling of pepper and it turned out great! Good recipe for leftover ham definitely!

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

I LOVE broccoli and olive oil! This was so tasty! I used fresh squeezed lemon juice and minced garlic from a jar since I was in a hurry. I also added steamed cauliflower so it was double the goodness! Was enjoyed very much!

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
This was one of the greatest choc chip cookie recipes yet! Although I would add a tad bit more baking soda. Cookies were chewy and delicious but a little flat. I used unsalted butter so maybe that had something to do with it. But overall - they were loved!

Cocoa Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
I thought these cookies were by far the best I have personally ever made! I make pretty ok cookies - but I added choc chips in these and they came out in perfect circles, and stayed moist for 3 days! Very chewy and flavorful. Although I only had 1 1/2 c left of oatmeal, they came out perfect!!

Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls

Excellent, quick cinnamon rolls! Absolutely loved them! Only thing I would do differently is try to make the icing a bit more visible and tasted. Other than that - great!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
The recipe itself was super easy to follow. I did however add quite a few seasonings. Garlic powder, onion powder, some ground red pepper, more pepper and two times mix of cornstarch and water. I thought that it was a little bland so I jazzed it up a bit! Good recipe though!

Peppermint Meringues

These were tasty! The only thing i didn't understand was why they were somewhat hollow inside. It was as if they kinda deflated and I followed the directions to a tee. But will mess around with different toppings next time for a unique taste!. Good recipe.

'King Of Rock' Frozen Pudding Pops

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
These tasted great- although I followed the exact recipe, when the pops were frozen, the peanut butter separated to the top and to the bottom. I kinda enjoyed it though. I was like the old fashioned creamsickles with the cream on the bottom!! Very tasty!
