Chicken with Garlic, Basil, and Parsley

This was OK. I made this with two suggestions from other reviewers - I added some Balsamic Vinegar on top of the chicken before placing the tomatoes on top and during the last five minutes of cooking I put thin slices of mozzarella cheese on top. I definitely will try this again but will allow the chicken to marinate in the seasonings and the balsamic vinegar first. I think it could have used some more garlic too (but I'm a huge garlic fan). Overall an ok meal, nothing wonderful.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

I loved this recipe. It was very tasty. My husband thought it was good but not great. Definitely a recipe I would make again. Oh, and I followed the recipe to a T! I served it with noodles with olive oil and it was a great pair!!! Highly recommend - but as another reviewer said if you aren't a vinegar lover, then this may not be the best recipe for you.

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

This dish is delicious! The only thing I changed was instead of two green peppers I used one red and one green, and instead of soy sauce I used Worchetire sauce (because that's what I had on hand). Definitely a keeper recipe!

Mushroom Pork Chops

I have mixed reviews on this recipe. First of all, I took the suggestion of other reviewers and deglazed the pan after browning the chops, with white wine and added freshly minced garlic, thyme, and a half of can of evaporated milk. I thought the sauce was delicious and really seasoned the mushrooms well! I found that the pork chops were not all that flavorful themselves. Next time I'll probably marinate the pork chops in some kind of seasoning (maybe mojo???) before browning them. The gravy that this makes tastes delicious on roasted potatoes by the way!! Updated --- I tried this recipe again and instead fried the pork chops with italian bread crumbs! Made a difference! Also used the white wine combination mentioned above. Everyone loved it!

Easy Cheesy Chicken I

I was very disappointed in this recipe. The chicken was very bland! I added mushrooms to the crockpot about an hour before it was done, which I recommend, but the dish wasn't really cheesy. If I ever make this dish again I would take the advice of other reviewers and add Italian seasoning and some other vegetables like broccoli. If you want it to have a cheesy taste I would probably add another can of cheddar cheese soup. The chicken was very tender though. Definitely did not need a knife, just needs a lot more seasoning/flavoring.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

This is a pretty good dish. My husband wasn't too sure about it when he first saw it but was sold after trying it. The chicken does need to be seasoned though. Overall a good hearty meal.

Beefy Pasta Skillet

This recipe wasn't terrible, but the other reviews were right, it is not very tasty. I wouldn't even compare it to a Hamburger Helper meal. I did add some garlic powder to the dish and some Italian Stewed Tomatoes...but it didn't really help much. It's an okay dish, just not a great one.
