Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
WOW!!! Such a great fast and quick recipe and the items required are sure to already be in your pantry. I did make some minor revisions. I salted the chicken first. I added a teaspoon for butter to the garlic/olive oil mix and popped it in the microwave rather than use the stove top. Everything turned out so so yummy and the chicken is super duper flavorful. Thanks for this great recipe!!

Mushroom Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
This is a wonderful recipe that never does me wrong. I put a lot more mushrooms then the recipe calls for so I always have to drain water mid-bake but I just really love mushrooms! It always turns out great. I also use ground turkey instead and people tell me they cant even taste the difference. I usually serve it with mushroom gravy on the side.

Best Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
This is a very easy recipe. I use fresh green beans and blanch them first. I also use parmesan in addition to the chedder to give it more color. I havent tried it with the french fried onion yet because I can never seem to find that at the store!

Red Velvet Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
Wonderful recipe and super easy!!! The cupcakes came out extremely moist and were such a hit with my superbowl guests. I only made a few revisions: I lessened the cocoa and added just a little bit more buttermilk. For next time, I probably wont use the whole bottle of red dye AND I will opt for a different frosting. The one I used wasnt as stiff as I wouldve like it. Other than that, this recipe was amazingly easy! Would make again for sure.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
This recipes a great "base" recipe. After reviewing everyone's input, I customized my own concoction. First,I coated my 2 3/4 beef chuck pot roast in flour and browned it in a skillet filled with half a stick of butter. In my crockpot, I mixed together 1 can of cream of mushroom, 1/2 cup of chicken broth, 1/2 cup of red wine with the whole packet of the dry onion mix. Added half an onion (quartered) and a few pieces of whole garlic. I put the meat in and placed the remaining half a stick of butter on top. I set that baby on low and let it cook for a total of 8 hours. For the last hour I added baby carrots, celery, mushrooms, and salt and pepper. It turned it soooo good and tender and the flavor was amazing. The gravy was nice and thick...I didn't have to use any thickening agents. The whole family loved it...kids scraped their plates and my husband said it was the best roast I made! Thank you all!
