I made these last minute, so no time for the egg and bake. Also used garlic powder, they were smooth and tasty. I've never used cream cheese in mashed potatoes before, but will definately be doing so going forward.

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Used the crockpot for this one. Only had hot Italian sausage, but that worked out perfect. Omitted the cream and sprinkled 2 cups frozen spinich (did not have fresh on hand) on top while cooking. Cooked on high for 4 hours. This was so delicious and the sausage had flavor, but was not too hot to eat.

Mushroom Crusted Ham and Cheese Pie

Had I read closer, I would have seen there was only 1 cup ham. I put in closer to 3 and it took about an hour to cook and completely set in the center. Everyone loved it, including my picky eater who hates mushrooms. I will definately use this crust for other dishes as well. Thank you!

Tortillas II

These were perfect texture and taste. I used them to make enchiladas and they came out soft but sturdy even after baking in sauce. I will definately cut into fewer pieces before rolling out for a larger tortilla next time.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

The best pancakes I have tasted hands down. I did not have a sifter for the flour, so I stirred with a fork untill fluffy. My youngest child requests these for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Chocolate Zucchini Cake III

This was outstanding, I used orange extract instead of vanilla. Everyone raved about this one. The glaze was a bit of a mess, not sure if I did it correctly because it was super runny. After some time in the fridge, it hardeded up and still tasted awesome.

Kids Favorite Meatloaf

My youngest had fun helping to make this one. We had to use bread crumbs instead of the squares. We also put a layer of yellow american cheese in the middle. On top we did just ketchup and a sprinkle of brown sugar. Served with mashed potatoes and green beans, there were no left overs.

Sunburst Lemon Bars

These had a nice lemon flavor, but there was a hint of chaulkyness that may have come from the confection suger. Will try again changing the ratio in the icing on top.

Fudge

This is truely the most simple and delicious fudge I have made. I made several batches with variations. Mint chips with crushed candy canes on top, Milk choc. chips with walnuts, Semi sweet with coconut. I can't wait to try peanut butter. My husband used to make fudge ages ago at one of those small candy stores, and he gave it two thumbs up.

Broccoli and Carrot Lasagna

I substituted an alfredo sauce found on this site and added cauliflower. The carrot sticks I used still remained slightly crunchy which was an added bonus for me. My husband, however, picked out every one. You could microwave carrots for a few minutes if you don't like the crunch.

Apple Crisp IV

Was ok. Used some of the suggestions on using oats. Only had red delicious apples and it came out too sweet. Will try again using tart apples and sticking to the original recipe.

Beef and Broccoli

I started using this one a long time ago when all I ate was soup and romen noodles. It is the best. Only bad part is now I can't enjoy the beef and broc. you get from the take out places.

Easy Pesto

Super on pasta. I also had to make quite a bit more to fit im my "mixer". I added olives, canned mushrooms and pecans(what I had on hand). Kids and dad loved it.

Penne Primavera

This was a fast and easy dish to make. I added some spice, cauliflower and canned mushrooms. Also put in some fresh baby leaf spinich right at the end.
