Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Love the ease and simplicity of this recipe. It is one that doesn't take a huge amount of time or fancy ingredients. I went with other reviewers and added a bit of garlic powder and Italian seasonings to add a little kick. You also may need to adjust the amount of flour depending on the moisture in your kitchen. (An extra 1/4 c. did the trick for me and kept the dough from being too sticky.) One note, it makes a large amount of dough! I doubled it and got four round pizzas.

Soft Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

This is not the receipe I'm looking for! I wanted a cakelike cookie. These are flatter than Christopher Columbus' imagination. I liked that they were soft and moist, and as fat free as you care with the yogurt. However, they would not rise, and the dough was runny. I added more oats and leavening (yes, it was fresh leavening) and still had paper-thin cookies. Kids loved the flavor, though.

Quick Cantonese Sauce

It was quick, but I didn't find it to be very flavorful. It was bland. I followed others reviews and reduced the amount of oil and onion. In the end I added more soy and some wine and that made it edible. But, that said, the receipe was not what I was looking for nor will I use it again.

Chocolate and Fruit Trifle

Wow! Lovely, light, and easy dessert! If you use all of the cake from the cake mix, it should make a double batch, but that's OK as there won't be any left. Very forgiving as you can use any fruit you'd enjoy with the chocolate. I made mine without the OJ and didn't miss it. It is a no fuss, yummy treat!

Candied Almonds

My family loved this special treat! Make sure to roast your nuts first as otherwise they come out slightly mushy to the tooth. I like the carnival type and once I tried it after roasting the nuts first, it was perfect!

Artichoke Chicken

This receipe is great! I did use the half mayo, half sour cream suggestion and I also added mushrooms and garlic. The flavors blend together beautifully. I will up the amounts for the sauce ingredients next time so that I can serve it over pasta. It was such a hit that there were no leftovers!

Hot Cocoa Mix in a Jar

This recipe is not a thin type of cocoa mix. Just what I was looking for. I was tired of my family using half the mix in order to get the rich flavor they were after. This mix provides that without a lot of excess fuss!
