About this Cook
I own my own photography business, and run it along with the help from my husband. We have 3 dogs, Abby, Gunner & Maggie, which are pretty much our life! We also have a rabbit named Ollie, and a guinea pig named Toby. I enjoy cooking, just not the greatest at it [yet]. Planning another Thanksgiving with the help of no one! This will be my 2nd one with me cooking everything!
My favorite things to cook
the recipes from my grandmother, she was a great cook!
My cooking triumphs
Portofino Stuffed Chicken Breasts [YUM!], Creme Caramel
My cooking tragedies
so far this is left to my husband! i read and follow directions to the T....until I know how to make it, then I will add and take out what I dislike about each thing
Recipe Reviews 3 reviews
Tomato Chicken Parmesan
Husband & toddler son both loved this as much as I did! Easy to make too

Margarita Grilled Chicken
Excellent! What we did: Bought the margarita mix, & jose cuervo, and the chicken, very thin chicken breasts. Used the amount of mix suggested, and one shot of jose, let them sit for 15 minutes (found this right before we were going to eat). Since they were so thin already, the 15 minutes was perfect. I can not wait to try this again, but we will let them sit for the 4 hours, just to see the difference. Yummy!!

Rolled Buttercream Fondant
this was my first time making fondant, and i was really unsure which recipe would be best. i picked this one, because it had a lot of good reviews on the main page. i made 2 batches both at different times for the same cake. i found this one to taste very good, but it was really hard for me to work with, for mostly one reason. it was solid grease. however, i shouldn't compare this with any others, as i have not yet made them. i will not be using this one again, or at least not the next time. if the other one is just as greasy i will come back to this, as the other ones i have found have things that are hard for me to find where i live, this one has things that are basic!
