Salmon Cakes II

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
Delicious! I used 2 eggs to help it bind, a bit more hot sauce and worcestershire sauce, about 1/2 Tbs. Old Bay, a squeeze of lemon juice and dusted with Parmesan cheese. Sprayed foil with cooking spray and did these under the broiler for about 10-12 minutes, flipping about halfway through. Made a dipping sauce of about a 1/2 c light mayo, 1 Tbs sour cream, 1 tsp. Old Bay, 1 tsp horseradish cream. YUM!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
This was an easy, delicious dinner. I actually made it slightly different because I just didn't feel like preparing it in the morning for the slow cooker. I used my pressure cooker! I followed the recipe up until it was time to add the soup and au jus. I layered them in a pyramid in the pressure cooker, mixed 2 cans of cream of mushroom and 1 cup of beef broth together, and poured it over the beef patties. Set the pressure cooker to high and cooked for 10 mintues, followed by a quick release. Served over egg noodles with the sauce. Kids and husband ate it up. Thanks for a great recipe!

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
Excellent soup. All 6 family members loved it and asked for seconds. I too used 2% milk and reduced fat sour cream and cheese. Also added a cup and a half of chicken broth at the end to thin it a bit - it is very thick and filling. Wonderful and will make again. Thanks!

Barbeque Pork Two Ways

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
Did as some reviewers said and made this with half BBQ sauce and half ketchup. I used a pork shoulder with a bone - no big deal- the meat fell off the bone. Served this on sandwich buns - we have 4 children aged 7-15 - everyone one of them had seconds and then one of them snuck down to the fridge in the middle of the night and ate another! This one is a keeper!!!

Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
I have never rated a recipe on this site before but felt the need on this one. This was great!!! I layered the lasagne just as you would with regular lasagne. We work all day and there was no way to just cook this for 4 hours so in the morning, I put it on the "warm" setting. My husband came home 8 hours later and it was perfect!!! Thank you for this recipe - it was great!
