Peanut Butter Pie I
The family loves this desert. I found it simple and fast to prepare, especially using the pre-made crust. The suggestion, however, to melt chocolate chips and line the crust did not turn out so well because the crust was very difficult to cut. I also added about 1/4 c. white chocolate chips to the batter.That made for a nice surprise. yummy

Date and Nut Bread
Very dense, & heavy. Grandson took some in school lunch with pb&j and seemed to get some attention from some of the adults there. Found it a little hard to slice. Used coffee and added fruit and nuts at the start of cycle. Increased recipe to 16 servings because my machine can handle it. Didn't have rolled oats. Substituted the quick oats and I think this may account for the texture. Will make again. Seems like a very healthy bread.

Sauerkraut Rye Bread
Made this bread as directed and followed some suggestions, like the addition of cocoa powder. I did only use the tsp. of caraway seed to test it out first and it was plenty for us. Nice crust and dense texture. It did well in the bread machine, also. We are glad I tried this. Sauerkraut does need to be dried and chopped. Wonderful. Will make this again. Served it up with Amish butter, keilbasa, potatoes and baked apples. yummy!!!!
