I was born and raised in NJ. Only kid out of my group of friends that lacked a microwave. I would watch my mom cook and help her, then became adventurous and took anything from the fridge to see what I could make of it. Now a young adult, I continue to experiment with new foods and foods I have already learned to prepare well.
My favorite things to cook
If by meal, then dinner. I enjoy chicken and making different sauces.
My cooking triumphs
My mom is usually my test subject, and not by force. She gives me an honest opinion and if needed a suggestion. So when I make something and she says its really good, the next day it will be nearly gone or completely consumed. That being said my triumph, mom tested, would have to be... hmm.. I'll get back to you on that. Drawing a blank.
My cooking tragedies
hmm... I don't have a specific story for this but more of accumulation of events when the smoke alarm would peirce my household's eardrums when my timing wasn't right, yea.. I've burned some things.
