Whipped Butternut Squash

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2005
I have a recipe that is similer, but very different. First instead of bakinf it with water, bake cut side up with just enough water to keep it from burning and cook a much shorter time(you want it soft but firm). Cut the sour cream in half and add a couple of tablespoons of brown sugarand some cinnamon. Because of the sugar and cinnamon the kids will love it and by not cooking it so long you will have a better texture.

Seven Layer Casserole

Reviewed: May 28, 2002
I cooked the hamburger first and added a can of mushrooms and a can of green chilis. It seemed a little dry. I would definalty make it again, but would add more tomato sauce or more water.

Hoagie Bake

Reviewed: May 8, 2002
I did NOT think it had too much egg. I mixed the Parmesan cheese with the egg and drizzled some between each layer of meat and cheese and put the rest on top. Also I added a layer of whole Ortega green chilis. Rince and drain chili and open flat. They were great. Thanks
