Peanut Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
My kids (4 and 2.5) LOVED this dish! I have tried several sweeter type dishes to try to win them over on anything other than Mac & Cheese, and it took until this recipe to make it happen. They devoured it. In order to add protein to the dish I added cubed chicken, and for vegetables I added peas (which might sound odd for a Thai Style dish but my kids wouldn't eat snow peas or sugarsnap peas, which might be more suitable). It worked great! I sauteed the chicken prior to making the sauce, and then threw the cooked chicken back into the sauce when it was done prior to tossing with the pasta. Excellent recipe, thank you!

Pumpkin Pancakes with Nutmeg Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
My kids and family LOVED this recipe. Kids rarely ask for second helpings of pancakes, and they woffed down several of these. We had overnight guests who also raved about these. They were fluffy, sweet and easy to make.

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2013
Delicious, and the kids LOVE these. I also substituted the Apple Butter for unsweetened apple sauce, the sugar for honey and added a few tablespoons of ground Flax Seeds, shredded coconut, halved the raisins and added 1/2 cup dried Cranberries and also used 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour and 1 cup All Purpose. They came out moist and perfect. Such a good recipe!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
I made just one modification since we're cutting down on sugar; substituted the sugar with 3/4 cup Agave Nectar (just remember to bake at a lower temp:330 degrees). They came out gooey, dense and delicicious! Will definitely make again!

Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
The flavors in this recipe are very good, but the sauce is slightly too thick and even too sweet. I'd cut down on the corn starch some, and add more orange and lemon juice. I'd also cut down on the brown sugar some. I used chili red peppers instead of regular red pepper flakes, and it created a little bit of heat to the sauce. Next time I will experiment a bit with the amounts, but overall the recipe is delicious and does indeed nail the restaurant style orange chicken.

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
My kids and I did not like this recipe. It was too processed tasting (prob from the cheese soup) and the colors were awful. It simply did not look appetizing, and frankly, didn't find it much so either.

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2013
Huge fan of this recipe. I don't normally cook beef or meat, and this one was neither intimidating nor overly difficult. Perfect flavors! This has been a huge hit at dinner parties.
