Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2011
So happy to have found this recipe! I have no doubt that this is perfect as it is but I added a tiny bit of leftover potatoes, onions, celery, and some italian seasonings. For my own peronal taste, it looked like it needed more liquid so I used a tad bit extra chicken stock that I had left over from a previous recipe. I would hold off on adding salt until you try the final result..then add salt to taste. I also used Parks brand sausage which already comes nicely seasoned and flavored.

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2011
Even though I made a little mistake, these are very good dumplings! My silly mistake was using 2 crescent dough triangles per dumpling..which yielded 8 instead of 16 lol. But despite this, they still came out great and I was pleased with the results. I love ALL types of sweets and desserts so my intentions were not to alter this recipe in any way to cut back on fat, sugar, etc..BUT I must say these are a bit too sweet for me which is rare for me to say regarding desserts. I will be making these again the proper way but I will definitely find a way to cut back on the sugar just a little..they are very very sweet but delicious!

Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
This recipe yielded a great tasty small batch of cookies! I did not have shortening so I used butter. I added the chocolate chips and walnuts according to my own personal taste. I also threw in some white chocolate chips. Baking time for me took 10 minutes. I've uploaded a photo of the cookies :)

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
this was a great base recipe! i will be making this again, but next time: an extra tablespoon of flour, less pepper and more bacon. To garnish I used scallions, cheddar cheese, a dallop of sour cream and the crumbled bacon. To make it richer, I may also use heavy cream next time instead of half and half.

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
great cookies. i wouldn't change a thing except for adding less white chocolate chips. the cookies had too many chips and made each serving really sweet (and i do like a sweet cookie) but it was a bit much.

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
I tried this for the first time and followed the exact recipe except I used vanilla extract and not brandy. The cookies were excellent. I baked for exactly 6 minutes. They were great fresh out the oven but next day seemed a bit dry but still tasty. I would make these again!! and again.. ;)
