Seven Layer Taco Dip

Excellent, easy to put together and easy to customize to your palate. Like others we skipped the lettuce and added guacamole some cilantro and walla we had a layered dip.

Marty's Thai Chicken Satay

Made the recipe as is, except used 1 tsp of the red curry paste, and used 1tsp of lemon grass puree as I did not have a fresh stalk, and it was fantastic. Used 5 boneless thighs which is my cut of choice when i grill/Tandoor. Tends to stay more juicy and take on the flavor of the marinade. cooked in the green egg at 550 F, for 18 minutes. Next time round i may try to puree the sauce before serving.

Creamy Parmesan and Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken Penne

Easy and quick recipe,phenomenal flavours. Little rich on calories, Oh well!! i have a weakness for garlic and you cannot have an italian dish without garlic, so I stir fried the chicken in a dollop of minced garlic. Yummmmmmm

Chocolate Cappuccino Cheesecake

Fantastic recipe a 5 plus. Made this a couple of times, the flavor, texture etc was perfect except the top cracked on every occasion. Not a fault with the recipe but something i I need to work on.

Cajun Seafood Pasta

excellent recipe. Made some canges which worked great for me. 1 1/2 tbs olive oil heated in a wok add 1 tbs chopped garlic, fry for a a minute add the the shrimp and sliced mushrooms. Once the shrimp turns opaque remove the contents with slotted spoon in a bowl. Now add the cream and all ingredients per recipe. cook for 5 mins and add the shrimp and mushroom into the sauce. follow per recipe after this. The result fantastic

Suki's Spinach and Feta Pasta

excellent recipe. Made some changes to suit my palate. Increased garlic (minced) to 1 tbs, added 2 chicken and spinach sausage skinned, chopped and fried with the onions and garlic. Used the Feta cheese with garlic.

Shrimp and Feta Cheese Pasta

Good recipe, improved with some changes. Agree with other reviews that the ratio of sauce to pasta is way off. Suggest halving the amount of pasta, doubling the tomatoes adding some salt and fresh crushed pepper. I am not sure of the other recommendation that others make of increasing the wine as most of it evaporates, specially if added early.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Fantastic recipe. I followed all the recommendations in the reviews, ie All ingredients at room temp, did not over beat the batter, used water bath, baked at 350 for 60 mins and left the cake in oven for 6 hrs. Still had one crack on the surface. Texture and flavor were excellent as good or better than the cheese cake factory. Only problem the top got too browned, aesthetically not as pretty. Any suggestion out there to prevent the cheese cake from browning too much.
