Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2013
I'm not a big fan of Chinese food because it's so unhealthy, in my opinion, but my boyfriend loves it so in an attempt to please, I tried this recipe. I followed the recipe, line for line and he LOVED it. The next time I make this, I will pan fry the chicken longer and on a higher heat in order to get crunchier edges. I served this with the "japanese zucchini and onions" recipe from this site.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: May 16, 2013
I bought a delicious looking raspberry spread at Costco tonight so raspberry oat bars were in order. I've made fruit and oat bars before but these are really, really great. Followed the recipe, no effort, room pleaser!! This is my new "go to" summer dessert, which is usually Bake Sale Lemon bars from this site.

Spinach Salad with Hot Bacon Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
Great salad recipe! I left out the cornstarch as I found the dressing to be plenty thick on its own. The dressing was great served cold for lunch the following day too. Definitely one of my new "go-to" salad recipes. I did not and would not change a thing.

Mini Pumpkin Butterscotch Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
Insanely good. I added 1/4 tsp allspice and 1/4 tsp ground cloves and followed the suggestion of another reviewer.... I added the chips to the dry mix and then folded the dry mix into the wet to keep the chips from sinking to the bottom. I sprayed my muffin tin with Pam and removed to cool after 5 minutes. They didn't stick and aren't falling apart like other reviewers did. Perfect, actually. I added two chips to each muffin before baking for decoration.

White Peach Sangria

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2011
Fantastic! I used vodka and peach schnapps, totaling 3/4 cup. If you use schnapps like some of the reviewers suggested, you don't need as much sugar. I didn't know what to expect making it last minute, but all my guests, loved this. Triple this recipe, at a minimum! If you prefer a less sweet drink, add a splash of sparkling water.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
I thought this recipe was VERY GOOD but it didn't knock my socks off. Maybe I am not a stuffing fan? I would definitely make again using a spicier or more flavorful sausage as when asked only a few guests could taste the flavor of the sausage.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
Loved this stuffing. I used low sodium chicken stock and ended up adding all the salt back in, FYI! Needed more pepper than suggested as well. Use FRESH herbs- it makes all the difference! Rated it four stars instead of 5 because with only 4 cups of chicken stock, the stuffing became soggy in the crock pot so I transferred the stuffing into a 9 x 13 pan and baked uncovered for 30 minutes to dry it out, a bit. (Kind of defeats the purpose of a crock pot recipe.) But I will definitely make again, just because it is SO EASY!

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
Everyone LOVED the topping, which compliments the sweet potato texture more than marshmallows. I finely crushed the pecans and even the non-nut fans enjoyed this dish. My family will make this over and over. Sweet and yummy!

Caramel Dream Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
Two of my favorite things combined- yellow cake and toffee bits! 4 stars instead of 5 just because it is extremely rich. We loved this cold. The bottom softens but the top stays crunchy! We aren't huge nut fans so next time I will grind them up more finely. I used walnuts instead of pecans. Thanks for sharing! I will definitely be making this again!!
