Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2011
Although I baked it for 20 minutes at 350, it was dry.

Quick and easy. I added a can of corn and a can of chicken and a little extra salsa.

Hamburger Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
My substitutions probably caused the lower rating. I used Healthy Choice tomato soup, corn instead of green beans, and mashed redskins with sour cream due to availability in my pantry.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Although they were too soft to easily make cut-out cookies, they were delicious. I frosted them with buttercream frosting.

Slow-Cooked Corn Chowder

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
Tasty and easy. I left out celery because we don't like it. We added some cheddar cheese after it was dished out.

Chocolate Bouchon Recipe | Serious Eats : Recipes

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
I didn't have pure vanilla, but the vanilla from the Dominican tasted good. I used Hershey's cocoa powder and Nestle's chocolate chips with tasty results. This made a lot more than I could bake in my one bouchon tray. I froze the rest. We'll see how the seconds turn out.

Cheesy Italian Pull Apart Bread

Reviewed: May 6, 2011
I'm not a big fan of refrigerated biscuit dough. If I make these again, I would try Rhodes dough.

BREAKSTONE'S Sour Cream Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
The pototoes should have boiled much longer. The casserole should have baked longer.

Italian Easter Bread (Anise Flavored)

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
I liked it, but my family wasn't crazy about the anise. Although golden brown, it wasn't thoroughly baked.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2011
This was simple and tasty. I used Rotel tomatoes, chiles with cilantro. I planned to use one can of cream of chicken soup but bought cream of mushroom on accident. My husband added red pepper to his. I simmered this in the crockpot for 3-4 hours on low.

Peanut Butter Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
I have made this twice. The first time as directed with the exception of creamy peanut butter and a handful of crushed peanuts. The second time I double the recipe and substituted one cup of wheat flour and about one cup of low-fat peanut butter and again added crushed peanuts.

Resurrection Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
Although not the tastiest rolls, these were so much fun to make with my preschool class at church. I gave each child a marshmellow to represent Jesus which they dipped in the butter. Each child had a bowl of cinnamon and sugar to represent sin. They wrapped their crescent roll around the marshmellow. I baked them in silicone cupcake holders which kept things mostly clean.
