Dirt Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
My parents love when I make this recipe! If you omit the cookies, the filling ends up tasting like a delicious mousse... you can exchange the pudding for any flavor and it always has a yummy, creamy texture to it. I like to use chocolate pudding..definitely a keeper!

This apple bread is delicious! Everyone in my family loves it and I keep having to make more everytime we run out. It's very simple to make too so I would suggest making this for just about any occasion!

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
Excellent, excellent, excellent! These taste identical to Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits! I brushed the tops once when they came out of the oven, but I still had plenty left over so I brushed and re-brushed and it tasted delicious! I would recommend these to anyone looking for a great biscuit to go with a pasta or salad!

Dad's Leftover Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
I made this last night for dinner and my husband loved it! The only change I made was the use of celery salt because I didn't have any celery seed. It came out tasty and moist! This recipe is certainly a keeper for those after-Thanksgiving leftovers!

I followed the recipe exactly as directed and the cake came out amazingly well! It was super tasy and the chocolate chips added into the batter were like yummy little surprises in each forkful. Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
Fabulous! Just made them for a get-together and they were gobbled up! They are so tasy and I like the extra chewiness the oatmeal adds to regular peanut butter cookies! Excellent recipe for holidays and parties! This recipe made 60 cookies if you follow the teaspoon size suggestion!

Decadent Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
This pie is very, VERY rich, so only have a small piece and make sure you have a glass of milk handy! It tastes amazing, fills you up and I got some rave reviews from my friends who tried this out at a party! If you're looking for a truly decadent, restaurant quality dessert - this is the one!

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2011
My husband absolutely loves these ribs! He gobbled them down and couldn't believe how they were falling right off the bone. These ribs were easy to make, a tiny bit time consuming, but totally worth the wait! They melt in your mouth. The real important thing is to choose a delicious barbecue sauce to smother them with and you'll have a true winner!

Banana Pudding IV

DELICIOUS! Words can not describe how much I enjoyed this banana pudding treat! This was gobbled up by my family in less than a day! We all agreed it tasted identical to the frozen banana creme pies you get at the grocer. I absolutely loved it and would certainly recommend it to anyone!

Irish Boxty

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
Delicious! Fried these up for my husband's organization as a "heritage night" food and they were eaten up! Tastes similar to hash browns..yum! My only suggestion would be to use a little more oil. By the time I got to the last few, it started smoking a bit because the oil had run out!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Delicious and very peanut-buttery! I loved them ;) The great thing about this recipe is if you're in a bind or if you're just in the mood for something delicious that doesn't take long to make, you can be done with these in less than 15 minutes total! Great recipe, definitely worth all 5 stars!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
ABSOLUTELY mouth-watering!! I made these for today for Thanksgiving and they were demolished! Everyone kept telling me how awesome the filling tasted! I read several suggestions on here and these are the changes I made (which worked out extremely well!) I cut the cayenne in half to 1/8tsp. and I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. If you follow the exact amount of ingredients, it makes more than enough filling for 24 mushrooms! I bought the little mushrooms so that each bite of the filling wouldn't be too overwhelmingly creamy. The little ones worked out and I ended up with extra filling which tastes amazing even cold. We put the remaining filling out like dip with some crackers after dinner and it was amazing :) I would definitely recommend this recipe to anyone looking for a great response from your guests!

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I absolutely loved these mashed potatoes! I made them a day in advance for my husband's birthday party, took them out of the fridge half an hour before I wanted to cook them, stuck them in the oven for an hour (stirring every 15 minutes) and they came out just as great as if they were made the day of! The flavors were delicious! I would recommend this recipe to anyone looking to save a little time!

Mini Cheesecakes III

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
I made this recipe for a family dinner and it was tasty (I'll never pass up on cornbread!) However, it did turn out a little dry. I only timed it for half an hour after reading the author's revision post but it was still rather crumbly/dry. Next time I think I'll use a shorter time. Other than that, the taste was good and it was simple to make!

Hasselback Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
The seasoning on these were tasty and the idea is excellent, however, I feel like the bottom of the potatoes are ignored and end up being very dry (even with the melted butter poured over them.) I think the next time I make these I will toss them around in the seasoning to cover completely before baking. Really great visually, just missing the flavor on the bottom!
