Basic Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2012
Very easy! I do not have the proper machinery to thin out dough and cut... I have a kitchen-aide mixer so the dough was a success, I rolled and cut thin noodles with a large pizza cutter. It was easy breezy. Think I will go ahead and invest in the pasta hook up for my mixer. All of the needed equipment was why it got a 4, but the noodles were beautiful and tasted great!

Spinach Pesto Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
I added 2t of white wine and 1/2 an onion. I prepare my own pesto so the garlic is there and there is plenty of flavors (you will find pesto recipes on this site- very easy if you have a food processor). sprinkled with cheese before baking. Wonderful, light, and for all you ITALIANS our there. THIS IS IT!

Apple Dumpling Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
This was a very good type of cake/cobbler... I didn't have cinnamon, but still wanted the top crust to have a little something extra! So, I topped it with Brown Sugar! It made a wonderful sweet crust to the top! Tasted GREAT served with Vanilla Ice Cream!!!!! Perfect for fall!

This is extremely easy prep wise and it makes you look like a pro! It is also a wonderful gift! Who can resist sweet cinnamon and sugar together!? I will even be so bold to substitute 2/3 C of applesauce in place of the 1/3 C oil! YUMMY!

Easy Pesto

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
I love this recipe! If I am feeling a little fiesty I'll throw a sun-dried tomato in it!! I pulse the dry ingredients before adding the olive oil- this way I can determine how wet/dry I want the pesto depending on how I am serving it! Delicious EVERY time!

Orange Chocolate Chip Bread

Reviewed: May 6, 2010
This was a delicious recipe and very easy! I was a little confused about whether it should be drained or the orange peel should be used... I used it and it turned out terific! I thought the flavor was great! Not too overwhelming, but just right! The temp or time was off! I watched my loaf very carefully as it started browning on the outside very very early!

I really liked this recipe! Instead of adding the Sherry I added Triple Sec for a sweeter more fruity flavor! It was delicious!

I made this dessert for my friends husband- he is a PB lover! everyone loved the dessert... My husband didn't love the oatmeal and I agreed that it made it a little chewier than expected... BUT all in all it was a great hit and the oatmeal didn't stop my family from eating over the half the pain in one night!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
My kids and husband love love love these cookies! Just to make them a little different I roll them in cinnamin and sugar mixture (just combine equal parts and then roll the ball of cookie dough into it)! They look exactly like the picture but cinnaminy! You can also roll/cut these cookies into shapes. Just freeze dough for 45 minutes to an hour. They turn out to be soft and chewy! Just bake them at 8 minutes!!

Rich Chocolate Cake I

Although the dough was more like brownie batter... I just added water until it was smooth and then proceeded to add 1 tsp of baking powder. My cake rose and tasted rich and yummy! I frosted it. frosting solves ANYTHING.
