Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2009
These are really good. And, 1 less Zuc in the fridge :). Instead of frosting, I put chocolate chips on top and smooshed in when I baked.

Blueberry Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
May be better if cake just a little sweeter. Otherwise very tasty and I like that it is made w/ a little veg oil instead of creaming butter.

Pizza On The Grill I

Reviewed: May 26, 2009
Very fun & tasty! and successful! I didn't add the garlic or basil into the crust, but followed all other directions for grilling. Very fun for party of 4, as each person chose their own toppings and got to take left overs home too.

Cayenne Pretzels

Reviewed: May 23, 2009
Yes this is a great snack! I put a little more cayenne & ranch in then called for, and added a box of cheese nips to the doubled pretzels. As another reviewer mentioned the word 'crack' I think I'm going to call this Crack Snack... as it's really hard to quit munching once you start.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: May 17, 2009
Very good. Added some garlic powder to the marinade. Marinated for about 8hrs. Next time might add something w/ a little acid (lime juice?), as chicken could have been a little tenderer.

Corny Coleslaw

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
Very good! My husband said this was now his favorite all time cole slaw--and he loves creamy cole slaw. We have frozen Iowa garden grown corn so this was a great way to enjoy it too. My husband suggested that bacon might be great addition to this and maybe cashews instead of peanuts...so we'll have to try that next time. I followed the recipe with the only added item being a a couple of shots of hot sauce to the dressing (not hot, but just to wake it up a little).

Very good! Used 2% milk to save on fat. Husband liked, and of course much better then canned.

Quiche Lorraine II

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
Yummy Sunday lunch! Didn't prebake crust, but did start at 450 degrees for 15 min. then 350 degrees for 35 min. Perfect baking time. Used half & half instead of milk b/c I had on hand. Very tasty, thought next time might add a little garlic.

Yummy! Easy! Used real bacon (Done in oven=no mess). Mixed all ingrediants as directed, and garnished top with a little cheese, green onion, and bacon crumbles. Served with rippled potato chips at Super Bowl Party.
