Spinach Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 10, 2011
This was amazing! I did make 2 changes (sorry, I know some people hate it when others do that.) I used 1/2 tsp cumin in place of the nutmeg, and omitted the onions & just stirred a can of mild green chilies into the soup/sour cream mixture. So creamy and yummy! Thank you!

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
This was very good. I did alter just a couple of things based on personal preference. I had 3 large chicken breasts, so I placed them in an 8x8 pan. This solved the problem of others saying there wasn't enough sauce to cover. I seasoned them to our preference, and covered them with the soup mixture, then covered to bake at 375 for 30 min. Then, when I uncovered them, I topped them with 1/2 cup bread crumbs & 1/4 cup parmesan (in the green can) cheese mixed with 3 Tblsp melted butter to finish cooking uncovered. Very good, and SO easy!

Hamburger Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
Wonderful! My 15 yr olds new favorite dinner. Made as recipe stated the first time, very good. The second time I browned the onion with the hamburger & threw in some minced garlic. Used one packet Beefy Onion, & one packet Onion Mushroom dry soup. A new favorite, and so easy. Thanks so much!

E-Z Chicken Tortilla Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
This was really good! I mixed all of the ingredients, and just barely tossed them with the corn tortillas. I also baked it uncovered. It wasn't soggy at all, and the family loved it. Very easy!!

Steff's Shepherd Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2009
I made a few changes, just based on what I had in the house. I used Golden Mushroom soup, and frozen mixed veggies. I also sauteed the onion with the hamburger, and threw in a little minced garlic and worstershire sauce. I always make my mashed potatoes with butter, milk and a little cream cheese. This was fabulous! I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was. Especially because it was much simpler than other Shepherd's Pie recipes I've tried! My husband and his boss gave it 2 thumbs up, and both said it was a definite re-do. Thank you so much for a recipe I will use often!

Best Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
Was looking for something simple to go with my chicken enchiladas, but didn't think I'd find a recipe that I had all of the ingredients for...wrong! I had slightly less than 1 1/2 cups rice, but kept the broth the same. Used corn & black bean salsa, and didn't peek at all for the 20 min. It was perfect!! Thanks for a great recipe that I'll use over and over!

Spiced Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
Very good! I followed the ingredient list exactly, but after I browned the chops I put them in the slow cooker on low with the sauce for about 6 hours. They were very tender and my husband loved them!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
I would give this 4 1/2 stars. I cut the chicken into cubes, and may have used a little more swiss than the recipe called for, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Cooked on low for 7 hours...it was delicious! Much better than I had hoped for based on the other reviews.

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

Loved how the bacon cooked and stayed flat, but it just wasn't the same. Tasted off

Sweet Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2008
Very good! I used half brown and half white sugar (based on the ingredients I had on hand) and one tablespoon of vanilla in place of one tablespoon of water. VERY easy and my husband and daughter loved them. Thanks!

Incredibly Easy Chicken and Noodles

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
This was yummy! I used one can cream of chicken, one can cream of chicken with herbs, and a can of cream of mushroom with garlic. I also added an extra can of broth because I had a 24 oz bag of frozen noodles. Kept seasonings exactly as stated and it was great! It did taste homemade. Thanks!

Six Egg Pound Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
This was my first attempt at baking any kind of cake from scratch, and it was delicious!! I halved the ingredients to make a kind of "short, mini" bundt cake and it only needed 30 min. to bake. Thank you for a great recipe. I'm so proud:)

This was awesome! I took it as my contribution to my family's Thanksgiving. My grandma (who is quite possibly the best cook in the world) asked for the recipe! I made it exactly as the recipe stated. It's a keeper! Thanks for a great recipe.

Easy Pork Chop Casserole

The flavor was very good, but my pork chops really dried out. Next time I'll check them after 30 minutes. But, will make again with shortened cooking time. Thanks!

Scrumptious Salisbury Steak in Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
I made this with fresh mushrooms and the gravy was delicious! However, I think next time I'll leave the poultry seasoning out of the meat. I thought it added an odd taste. But other than that, very good. Will make again. Thanks!

Ty's Barbequed Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
Wow. This was amazing! I followed the recipe exactly, and it was perfect. An hour later my husband is still talking about how good it was. Thank you so much for a great recipe. We'll be making this over and over! ADDITION: I have made this several more times, and allowing it to marinate over night takes it up to 10 stars!!!
