Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2013
I have made this often but I use the Knorr Vegetable Soup mix. It is much better & you can also add artichokes to change it up. But it is a very good dip & I make it often.

4th of July Blast Smoothie

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
I recently purchased the Ninja Kitchen 1200 & what a a great investment...absolutely the greatest invention & it does exactly what they saw on TV including making ice into snow in a matter of seconds, but my son & I made this smoothie in the Ninja except the recipe called for Vanilla Yogurt..we used the Vanilla Greek Yogurt (i believe it called for 1/2 cup) but you can add or to your own taste & no was really good...& to Kathy37c...since you are allergic to oranges you can add apple juice or white grape juice but if you don't want to use juice you can use Silk Coconut Milk...omg so delicious & i have also used Coconut Water (comes in cans in the Mexican section of your grocery store...i just have fallen in love with coconut water & it is starting to become very popular & good for you too....i do not have a stomach so i have to make up all kinds of smoothies, soup, etc., that i can eat but just try it & adjust to your taste & loved this recipe!!!

Buffalo Chicken Wing Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
This was absolutely awesome!! I did not make in the slow cooker-I made on the stove in a pot because I did not want to wait. I used canned white meat chicken breast & I sauteed a small amt. of onion in butter. Used one can of cream of chicken soup, half cup of sour cream, half cup of a bottled chicken wing marinade, 1/4 c. of half-n-half, a little celery salt, pepper & garlic salt. I am the only one that will eat this (I don't have a stomach) so I have to make a lot of soups-this was fantastic. I will definitely be making again & again. TY Pat!!!

Poblano Chile Pepper Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
I have made this soup-it is wonderful!!! BUT NEVER, NEVER RUN YOUR PEPPERS UNDER WATER IF YOU BROIL OR ROAST-YOU WASH AWAY ALL THE SMOKEY FLAVOR. The purpose of broiling or roasting peppers is the smokey flavor.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
This recipe is great as written, except I added chicken broth instead water. What's up with all the veggies, cumin...I was raised on country cooking & you don't put cumin in chicken n' dumplings-maybe in your chili. But to each his all I guess-must not be from the South.

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
I have cooked pork roasts in the slow cooker for years. I use coke as the liquid but your recipe is GREAT!!!. For the person who said it was the WORST, don't pay any attention to that. This was great and will definitely be a keeper.

Bacon Fried Bananas

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
rgibbs-jcounty This recipe is great. I also make it with butter & brown sugar & I don't use bananas that are too ripe. Try it with plantains but add sugar, honey or brown sugar as plantains are not naturally sweet. Really very good.
