Thick Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Very good recipe! Chewy on the inside yet a little chispy on the outside. I used the mint/semi sweet chips from Nestle and it worked out well. Adding this one to my Christmas cookie list!

Magic Mango Bread

Lemon Blueberry Bread

Overall a good recipe! I made this twice once following the recipe as stated and I found the lemon favor to be too overpowering. The second time I made it I cut the zest down to one tablespoon and omitted the lemon glaze altogether. The bread was fine without it. The bread is better the second day.

Fresh Broccoli Salad

This salad has potential. It had a good flavor but I will change a few things up the next time I make it. I thought it had way to many raisins and next time I will cut the raisins back to 1/4 cup. I didn't think there was enough broccoli, I used 4 cups packed tight but next time I will use five cups. Lastly the salad dressing came out too runny next time I will add less sugar and cut the white wine vinegar back to two teaspoons.

Hawaiian Mac Salad

This salad was OK. It wasn't bad but it wasn't that good either. Maybe it had something to do with the Maui onion which I could not find. I used a vadalia onion instead. I will make this again but I will try to jazz it up by adding some addition spices. I did like the concept of the potatoe and macaroni mixed together. This salad has potential.

Chicken Unitarian

The chicken came out very moist! I didn't change any of the ingredients, I just marinated for 3 hours prior to cooking. I used what was left of the juice and made gravy. Very tasty!

Banana Crunch Cake

I did not care for this cake. I followed the recipe as stated. The bake time listed was not long enough so by the time the cake was cooked in the middle it was dry. There was WAY too much topping which became overcooked. I won't try this one again.

Asparagus with Parmesan Crust

Amazing and awesome flavor! The balsamic vinegar made this taste excellent. I used Kraft Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing & Marinade. Based on the reviews I prepared this a tad differently than written (I didn't change the ingredients). I lined the baking sheet with foil for easy clean up, placed the olive oil in a bowl and tossed the asparagus in it to coat evenly. I cooked the asparagus until it looked slight bright green (about 11 minutes), pulled it out of the oven and added the Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinaigrette. I cooked until the cheese was melted (about 2 more minutes). A different and delicious way to cook asparagus. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Pistachio Cake III

I read all of reviews carefully before I made this cake. I confess I did not make as written but I must give this five stars. Changes I made based on the reviews, I used Betty Crocker super moist butter recipe cake mix, two jumbo eggs, 1 1/2 cups skim milk and 1/2 cup sour cream, I did not add the food coloring. It was good the first day, but was even better the second day. It was soooooo moist and the flavor was not overpowering. I didn't frost the cake as I thought it tasted fine as is. Good recipe.....give it a try.

This wasn't the best that I have tried. Not flavorful enough and the stuffing amount was a bit sparse. The pork also did not come out as tender as I thought it would.

I made as stated and although very easy I did not care for the flavor of this at all. Maybe it was the feta cheese. The chicken was a bit dry and the bacon did not cook up right.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Excellent! Very good flavor. I have made a few times and changed up the recipe a bit. I use 1/2 cup of minced celery, 1/4 cup minced green pepper and 1/2 cup of pecan chips and it comes out perfect. Easy, good and tastes even better the next day.

Crispy Oven-Roasted Rosemary Chicken with Sausage and Potatoes

Very tasty! I made as directed but I did think it was a bit greasy. I will make again and maybe cut the olive oil in half and perhaps add some green peeper and onions. The rosemary gave it an excellent flavor. Overall a good recipe that can be tweeted to your liking.

Blue Cheese Beef Tenderloin

I used this for a couple of rib eye steaks. I marinated the meat for about six hours. I thought this was very good...the meat came out so tender and had an excellent flavor. The sauce was missing something...I think next time I will increase the Worcestershire to 2 teaspoons and see if that will do it. Overall a good recipe that I will make again.
