About this Cook
Vegetarian, animal loving and travell- addicted =)
My favorite things to cook
I prefere "baking" :D cakes, cup cakes, tartes, any kind of stuff which belongs in the oven!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Pumkin soup for Christmas lunch and rice pudding for breakfast. rice with fennel seads after coming back home after the vacations. extremely chocolaty chocolate cake for my dad's birthday.
My cooking tragedies
Aunt Joyce's chocolate cake! First time was ok. When I made it for the second time, my dad compared it to goo or some kind of alien brain substance, and my younger brother and sister started playing with it as if it was play dough. They simply formed cats and dogs. After a short time, my mom decided that this is a health risk and threw it away. Never again! The last time I made something which had to be thrown away was when I was 12 years old! Embarrassing! =)

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread
This recipe is perfect if you like cake-y cornbread. Since I wanted to serve these as lunch, I slightly increased the buttermilk and slightly decreased the butter. I also only used 1/2 cup of sugar. They turned out very yummy!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III
If you love peanut butter, you will adore these cookies. I had to make a lot of them and didn't have time so I didn't read any reviews. That was not really necessary at all. The only thing to mention is that putting the fork in water before pressing on the cookie helps a lot. And for some reason my filling was a bit dry so I had to add more cream. But the amount of filling was just perfect! Like everything else as well. Extremely delicious cookies!

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III
Hmm...very yummy! very moist and very chocolaty! One of the best chocolate cakes I've ever made! I followed some reviewer's advice and increased the cocoa but that's not necessary. Do exactly what the recipe says, and you'll get a very, very good chocolate cake!
