Creamy Orzo, Corn and Chicken Soup
What a great comfort recipe- and perfect for a cozy dinner inside on these cold winter days. I followed the recipe in all, except for substituting the lemon juice with 1/2 the amount of vinegar b/c I was out of fresh lemons (1 Tbsp. vinegar). I added 1/2 a red bell pepper chopped and sauteed with the onion and garlic (its a personal preference but it adds a nice color variation to the soup). Also, I omitted the 1 Tbsp. flour b/c I used the regular heavy whipping cream, not the 10% cream. (Most will have reg heavy whipping cream in their fridge I think.) Next time, I will add shredded carrots along with the corn. Thanks for sharing!

Smooth Sweet Tea
Delicious, healthy, and refreshing!!! We replaced the sugar with "sugar in the raw" instead and cut back to only 1/2 cup (added honey to sweeten it up). Also, we added the juice of 2 fresh squeezed lemons. The recipe is exactly what it says- smooth and sweet! Thanks for posting this.

Romanian Apple Cake
This is a great recipe! Of course being that I am Romanian myself, I had to give it a try. I've used it for countless gatherings, occasions, etc. each time I make it, people rave about it and ask for the recipe. My mother-in-law (who was born in Romania) also asked me for this recipe so that's how I definitely knew this was a hit. It is a moist and delicious cake! I especially like that it is not overly sweet. I usually coat the cake with powdered sugar well after it cooled off, or....... for those days when I just need the "extra something", I serve it warm out of the oven with a scoop of ice cream (preferably vanilla or butter pecan) right on top. Yum!!
