Bratwurst Braids

I must say its not fare that I gave this recipe a 4 but I didn't have sauerkraut and I only buy turkey sausage but even with the changes it was still yummy . I sauteed some onions and placed the onions on top of the mustard and also placed cheese in the rollup. Still for week night quick dinners its 5 stars. For weekends, I'd stick to BBQ'd sausage.

This was pretty good. Boys loved it but the adult in me needed more flavor. No need to bake this, after I drained the noodles (I used angel hair) I placed everything in the pot and stirred until warm about 5-10 minutes. Last 3 minutes I added my favorite cheese and it was done. Added about 1 cup of sour cream to make it creamier.

Chicken 'n' Stuff

I found this works perfect in the crock pot. Just put the chicken, cream of chicken,and wine in the crock pot. I added pepper, garlic and onion powder into the pot as well and then left it on low for 8 hours. I added the stuffing (stove top) an hour before dinner. I stirred it twice in that hour, add a little more liquid if stove top is dry.

Mom's Brown Bread

This bread was pretty good. It's a very heavy bread. I did 1/2 a cup brown sugar with 1/2 a cup white sugar. I also put it into a cake pan to bake it. I cut the temp bake to 350 for 30 minutes. I would make this again if I wanted bread in a hurry.

Big Germans

AWESOME!!! Doubled the recipe and put it into 3 pie plates and baked for 18 minutes. My boys scarfed them up with no lemon but powdered sugar, butter and syrup. Will make again for sure. P.S. I only had 7 eggs but it still was great, the germans were just a little thicker than normal

Parmesan Chicken I

This recipe is just ok. I used cream of chicken instead of mushroom because my boys won't eat mushrooms and I don't think it maked much difference. Added garlic, italian seasoning and onion powder as well. Taste was similar to stovetop. The recipe did have a very salty taste to it and the chicken dry.

Foil-Pack Taco Chicken Dinner

Good for a quick fix dinner. I used canned potatoes to make it even quicker to prep and had no problems. I liked the salsa and taco seasoning on the potatoes as well. Be carefull when unfoiling, the salsa creates a lot of liquid.

Honey-Glazed Pork Chops

Really good for a quick weekday meal. I LOVE how the recipe didn't call for browning the chops in oil or butter. I added garlic powder, italian seasoning and cayene to each side while it browned and doubled the sauce. Will make again.

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

AMAZINGLY YUMMY!!! I didn't have 2 cups of tomato sauce so I used 8oz italian tomatoe sauce that I did have and 6oz tomato paste. It made for a timy bit thicker sauce but it worked for me.

Scalloped Potatoes and Pork Chops

This was a simple recipe and very tasty. I just used 2 boxes of the southwestern potatoes. I followed the box directions but cut the heat to 370 from 400 though still flipped and stirred the potatoes and chops after 30 minutes.
