Sugar Coated Pecans
I just made these and all I can say is WOW!!! I took some of the other suggestions and used 2 egg whites, 1 tbsp vanilla instead of the water, and 1 tsp of cinnamon. I shook them in gallon sized bags and it worked wonderfully. I'll will be giving these as gifts this holiday season. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Glazed Apple Cookies
These were so amazing! I'm not a huge fan of baked apples but these cookies cured that! I made a few changes that were suggested by others. I grated 2 medium apples, used milk instead of half & half for the glaze and added cinnamon to the glaze. Half of the batch I left out the nuts and raisins and the other half I added walnuts. I baked them at 375 for 7-9 minutes then let them cool before I iced them. I took one reviewers advice about freezing the glaze for 15 minutes and my oh my did that works slick! I will be making these cookies very often!

Pumpkin Pie
I made this yesterday and it was amazing! It was the first pie I have ever made. I didn't have any corn syrup left so I used 1 tablespoon of molasses and 1 tablespoon of honey instead. I also added 1/8 teaspoon of allspice. I also used the store bought pie dough to save time. The batter was very runny like others said but it firmed up perfectly. And it took about 75 minutes total to cook. I covered the edges of the crust with tin foil and my crust came out perfectly browned! I'm definitely making this for Thanksgiving! Thanks for this wonderful recipe!
