Flax and Sunflower Seed Bread

Delicious. I didn't even use flax seeds... Just extra sunflower seeds. So good toasted with butter. Hell, good PERIOD.

Bacon Wrapped Barbeque Shrimp

If I could give this six stars, I would. My mother and I underestimated just how much shrimp is in two pounds, and so we had a few stragglers. I love bacon. I love shrimp. I had the utmost confidence in this recipe and I was not proven wrong. My mom and I have decided that we are not going to tell ANYONE about this!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Utterly and completely delicious. I used half whole wheat and half white so I wouldn't feel so guilty! Also used applesauce instead of oil. They were gone within two days.

Cake Mix Cookies IV

I was skeptical, at first. I wanted cookies, but was very much lacking in the butter department (the ONLY way to make cookies, IMHO!). I found this and tentatively tried it with some French Vanilla cake mix. I also used a previous reviewer's tip of rolling them around in a mix of powdered sugar and cinnamon. WOW. Talk about tasty. Definitely a keeper.

It was fast. It was easy. What the title of this neglected to mention was that it is DELICIOUS. A definite keeper for those low-ingredient "oh god i'm starving" nights.

S'mores Bars

Now, I don't really like chocolate, so that's a bad place to start. Still, this was actually sort of tasty. For chocolate. It doesn't keep too well, though, so if you're only cooking for two people, do cupcakes or something, not a whole tin!

Onion Rice

I have to be honest; I wasn't expecting this to be anything to write home about. Talk about less is more! This was actually rather tasty! I did use seasoned bouillon cubes instead of broth (I was out!), so that may add to the tastiness. Either way, I will definitely keep this in mind, and though it may not be the most mouth-wateringly delicious thing I've ever made, it still gets five stars for versatility as a side dish - and extra kudos points for the fact that I already have the recipe memorized!

Chicken Breasts Pierre

I knew that was a winner when I took a brief sip of the sauce (before I had ever added the chicken) and realized that it was freaking delicious! What a winner. Im a sucker for slightly sweet sauces, too, so that was a plus. As an added note: We entirely forgot to get Wor...chestshire? Whatever it's called. Well! We used soy sauce instead, and it was still delicious! Just a little side note if you're low on...that other sauce.

Eeeeveryone loved this dish and couldn't get enough of it! I was surprised how easy it was. A great recipe to have to the side of the oven while you prepare the rest of dinner!

Red Velvet Cake I

First off, WHOAH, we had more than enough food coloring! My fingernails are still a little red... That aside, I really liked this recipe. The paste part was a little difficult, but it was otherwise pretty simple. The frosting was to DIE for (and even though I used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, I STILL felt bad!). Everyone else has said it's very good too, and though I'm not a big chocolate fan, I gotta agree. Dunno if it was just me or not, but my cake fell apart a little bit, which was sad. I added some sliced strawberry inbetween layers and on top. Overall pretty tasty, I gotta say.

Parmesan Focaccia Bread

Delicious. I can see that I'm going to have to make loaves of these at Thanksgiving! I never used the lecithin (whatever it is), and each time I like to mix up the herbs with something Italian-ish, like cilantro or rosemary.

French Baguettes

I always get nervous when I see recipes that call for bread machines, cuz I don't have one. But I didn't need one! Just some thorough kneading (thanks to enthusiastic helpers) worked just fine. You DON'T need to add anything, but the second time around, I put in a pinch of oregano, parsley, and thyme, then mixed garlic salt with butter and brushed it ontop halfway though baking. And I think I accidentally discovered the Olive Garden breadstick recipe!

Old Fashioned Apple Dumplings

These were amazing. My cooking crew mistook "cored apples" as making holes all the way through the apples, but it still came out amazing. I used all brown sugar (it was all we had), and mixed it with the cinnamon before sprinkling on the rolled-out pastry dough first. Just to make things easier for me. Definitely would do again. :)
