Mexican Salad

Sorry, but this is not our favorite. I used the recipe as written and it was very bland. Not sure that I will try it again.

I'm sure this is going to be good because I grew up in NE AR where we used to go to Campbell, MO to pick peaches. No peaches this year as the frost killed everything late this spring! Will certainly save your recipe.

Staffordshire Oatcakes

I've just made these for New Years' Breakfast.They are much thicker and denser than pancakes that we are used to. Directions say "spoon to make a thin pancake," but my batter was much too thick to spread.

Fresh Peach Pie I

Really good pie and refreshing change from the traditional two-crust peach pie. I did find that the glaze makes about one cup too much for the pie. Saved it and used over vanilla ice cream. Yummy! Roberta Sambol
